Hey I'm not that great at programming but in the graphics tutorial it mentioned changing the sprite animation…. I was wonderin wat to do if I want to add like an attack animation or like ridding a bike or somethin like that.

you have it wrong. I have a 32x32 tileset but they are so large it makes the game very low quality. I can make the tileset smaller but then it doesnt line up correctly. Thats why if I make the whole game run on 16x16 it works easier for me. I've learned that you cant do that in any easy way so now i want to know if I can zoom the screen out to give the illusion that they are in fact smaller.

well…. then i guess that won't work. Is there a way to zoom the screen out then?

Say I wanted to overhaul the source… how much would i have to change?

Is there any way to make the pixel sizes of the map blocks smaller? I want to pretty much miniaturize my game. Help???

hey - most of us don't care if it's buggy. let us work with a beta that's not official. then you're not pressured AND we're happy.

I mean seriously. When I tell people I read manga they either ask "WTF?" or think I'm emo. I AM NOT EMO!!!! Manga are like english novels with pictures. But better. They are a lot like Graphic Novels but I hate the art in those. I also hate people who think they read manga. The people who watch anime (Which usually sucks bty) and read few chapters and know somethings about naruto and dbz. I have read all of these from front to back (or at least to the current chapter.) try 110mb.com. It allows you to make free websites and is very easy to use. You can choose from thousands of pre-made designs. I don't think you can do custom with it though. Hope this helped.

I do apreciate it! I already have those same tiles but the sprites are amazing! Thx! BTW, to skell, it's probably easier to enlarge the sprites than to shrink the tileset.

Hi people. I'm planning on trying to create a really good pokemon game. I won't start scripting and changing the source code until the summer comes, cause right now I have no time. I would like to get started though. I need people to make sprites for me. Only in-game sprites, I have the battle ones. Also, if you look at the pokemon tiles downloadable on the home page, they are good but incomplete. If people could add on to those that'd be awesome. Finally, if anyone would like to help scripting or mapping, look me up in june. Thx :azn:

Okay, I'm all screwed up. I downloaded the pokemon tile sheet but I can't get it to work. Instead of black or white the see-through color is a shade of green. How do I fix that?

Hi! I'd like to join. I can map really well and I'll program pokemon, moves, items, etc. You're gonna need a hell of a lotta scripting though. I can use pokemon databases to get info as well as sprites if we need them. I will help as much as I can but it won't be too much. When summer comes I'll be all out though with mapping. If you want I could start with a different region like Jhoto maybe?

Hey Guys! For a little while i've been working with eclipse. When I went to get some more tiles I saw the pokemon tiles and said to my self, "Self, that's not a bad idea." WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR 1.) If you do not have any pokemon experience, than this is not for you, 2.) Someone who can come up with good ideas for scripting. This will need a lot of scripting. 3.) Mappers 1 Kanto Region 2 Jhoto Region 3 Orange Islands? 4 Sapphire/Ruby Region 5 Diamond/Pearl Region 4.) Someone to maintain a website 5.) Someone with really good knowledge with EE 6.) Anyone else who can help out. Not sure if this will work or not, just a thought.
