Schmeman

Ever since I began playing the game Equinol 6 years ago I have been fascinated by games created either using playerworlds or eclipse.. etc. For a while I have been fooling around with Scripting and Mapping and such but I have never bothered to create my own graphics. Is there some place that someone could direct me to that could be a great resource for a beginner in making GUI, Tile sheets, and Sprites? Thank you, any help would be appreciated.

I have only edited my main for scripted NPC's to talk. I'm kinda new to the whole scripting thing. Also I'm not so sure what the data.ini files are.

When i'm trying to talk in EE 2.7 a speech bubble comes up but it is a weird combination of trees and such. Is there any way i can fix this so it doesn't do this. (also it does this when it turns to night or when weather happens.) Thank you any help would be greatly appreciated

Im sorry if this seems like a dumb question but i have been looking for a while now and i can't quite seem to figure it out. How do i change the X and Y coordinates (and map if need be) of the starting location of the game (when you character is created and you first log on)? Thank you, any help is greatly appreciated.

Well I suppose my main problem would be that even if i type something in Speak I cannot get the NPC to say what I type. I was doing some searching for other topics that may have a solution and I only found one. That topic described how if i select friendly than the NPC will say the one line, however that does not work for me. Also could you elaborate on the scripting NPC topic, or could I be directed to a place where I can teach myself. Whichever is easiest. Thank you.

I am trying to make an NPC talk but I can't seem to figure out how. I noticed that I had an option to choose Scripted but i don't really know what that means. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
