would you guys happen to know of a good java mud client, that I can put on my website? And on top of that do you have the installation instructions for it? Becuase I've tried a TON of java MUD clients, and one flash client and I can't figure them out. I need help

I want to make a MUD, but I'm not sure how to make one, and I don't even know anything about it. So would someone know were to find source code for a MUD? Like that people can telnet to. At the least a documentation on what I need to make MUD would work, or what programming language it needs to be written in. It seems like it should be simple, but I can find the original telnet MUD stuff. I keep finding MUD clones that just have client servers stuff, with graphics and what not.

all that was kind of big to me, can someone put it down to my level? Something like: the….....and.......registry.........and........helps........and......you :)

I just now started tamporing with the windows registry. The thing that sparked my curriosity was all those warnings that popup saying "registry key added" Now I'm careful to make sure the program that is changing the registry is trusted, however I was curious as to what the registry is, and how it works? How do programs add registry keys? How could I add a registry key? I'm under the impression that malicious programs change the registry key, but I don't understand what they would change it to, or how it would work? how could I change it back? Now I'm thinking you guys won't want to answer all these questions, so is there a tutorial someone can point me to? or if someone could answer the questions that would be GREAT

I went to a website (proboards.com), and it had an obvious Copyright at the bottom of there page. If a website doesn't have a copyright on there page does that meen it and its objects (swf, php, gif…) are free for the taking? For example there are arcade sites, and I would like to take some of there .swf files. However if it is illeagal then I would rather stear clear. :)

I meant a web bot, and I understand more about it now. However, how would I create one for the web? What would be a good language? And is there a program out there that will let me make them? I have no idea why I want one. :)

How to you create bots/spyders???? What CAN they do? Besides spam websites. Is there a program out there for me that doesn't envolve me knowing programming??? If not is there a tut out there that teaches me to make bots/spyders???

this is somewhat true, however it doesn't say anything in the Bible about said action. Also had the good Lord been around to see today's government I think he would pardon me. e.g. if you follow half of today's copy right laws, you would go insane. Did you know that to simply play a song on the piano (in public) without the owners consent, you are in violation of copy right. However the owner will most undoubtedly not press charges because no one would buy his music. But my point is made. Next I only plan to use it to mod this ONE game. If I was going to CONSTANTLY use it to make games ect…, then I would consider it illegal and wrong, however because I'm going to use it once, and probably delete it then I THINK it is worth pardon. :)

The problem is thought: I want to implement it into my website, and it is a christian website. So unless I can change all the spell stuff, I can't use it. :(
