  1. I wanted to know for Eclipse-Stable if you can use player spritesheets of 64x64 or even bigger. Im making a game that everyone is a spaceship in space, but I need bigger spritesheets… Is there a tutorial on this?

  3. I have just a few wishes, some really easy to do, some tougher, some, tell me if they wont work, because they could be impossible. (1=easy, 2=tough, 3=Impossible, perhaps?)

    1.1=When making new tiles, it gets really annoying when you have to save new ones, quit the server, and go back in, unless maybe there is a way I didnt know, but perhaps make a /reloadgfx command?

    2.1=Instead of selecting one tile at a time while map making, like the rpg makers, a multi tile selector that can be dragged to select more tiles, (If you know what I mean…)

    3.2=Spells working, of course, which everyone pretty much wants. =)

    4.3=This could be impossible, Im not very script oriented (Only with C++! Which noone probably cares...) but make it so when people make a house, instead of using tileset 1, make items that turn into furniture that you can purchase for your house, nd place around and attributes such as blocking are already added to it. Also, a guild hall creator, that you can create your own guild hall, if you are the leader.

    5.2=And  lastly, a skill creator that allows several different skills that level up, (So certain levels when reached, new skills are aquired.)

    This is just my wishlist! Hope this will get at least looked at...

    That is the most hopeless thing ive ever heard… The point of scripting is to take time, you dont use others time to get the script you want, or you dont get the script you want. You must not be as good as a scripter as you think then... Real scripters know the time and effort put into scripting.
  5. Stick world online is an rpg that everything is simple, sketch on paper-like graphics. It is set in modern - future times, in which there is a meeting hall with games (None made yet lol thats why we need a scripter!) But the ground looks like paper, anyway, and the graphics are extremely simple. However, the story goes like this:

    One day, there was a kid that sat alone on a rainy day, bored since he couldnt play outside. So he found a notebook full of paper, a pencil, and he drew a world of stick people and monsters, and an evil warlord that controlled that whole universe. However, this was a very magic notebook, one handed down generations unnoticed sitting in his closet, hiding inside a dusty old box. But he was 6, what did he care? He opened the box and found a notebook made of a leathery material. He found tons of empty pages, and an old pencil. When he drew on this paper, he magically drew like a sort of artist, drawing unlike most kids his age would. The truth was, everything on this paper was in another universe, and came to life. Everything. As the days drew on, he always went back and made villages, and even tortured the stick figures with guns. Then, he drew Agnolious, he named it, the overlord. He finally got bored and lost it in the closet. Agnolious now ruled this world, and with wrath tortured the people more and more as time went by. The only way to fix this is for a hero to come forward and destroy this warlord, so they can have peace forever, for when the notebook is destroyed, the paper world can no longer be edited by humans. Escape, however, is far more impossible then one might think…

    Needed: Scripter to edit script, make scripts, etc. Please, if you are a scripter, show one of your works and what it does, we need at least a pretty good scripter, not just a new scripter.
    We also need more mappers, item makers, and paperdoll makers. (BUT MAINLY SCRIPTERS!)

    What is unique about this game, is well, of course, it is like sketches on paper, so, yeah. Also, it is in modern times, (Not too many games are modern) and there will be a game hall with board games, and an arena for guild versus guild games and player versus player games. (Capture the flag, etc.)

    Im moderate at mapping, so dont give me all the mapping work. Ive made 2 games on rmvx before, so Ive learned how to make maps better and better.

    I have gimp, so making tilesets, items, and characters is way easier.

    Due to a reason I hvae joined a new team, I have quit making this site. I have been hired for a game called Stick World. Anyway, thanks for the tips, I will use them to help make the new site for the game!

  11. I think you would want to add more detail about your game and stuff, otherwise theres not much to lure people to want to help. Like add unique stuff about your game, what you need help with, and that kind of stuff. And if you have a story for it. Im not trying to get angry at you, Im just saying it needs a bit more detail  :P.
  12. Ive noticed lately that as I walk around with my sprites, it only shows the first and middle frame, not the last. So it looks like he just drags one foot along. Has anyone else had this problem?
  13. Ugh so confuddling…  (I made that word up myself) :confused: Ill get my brother in here, since he knows alot more about computers then me. (except the time he messed it all up while connecting his xbox360 to the internet...) But Ill tell you guys if I ever get it fixed.  :cool: (IF I EVER DO RARGH!) Anyway, Ill just work on my game while I wait.
  14. hmmm… I redid the whole tutorial, wrote my public ip address and remote port into blackout gaming, and it still said im offline  :sad: I also tried my games ip and port, but still offline..     Maybe I'll get my brother who knows way more about computers then me to try it... Im pretty good, but I just guess Im doing something wrong.
