  1. Interesting concept…but a common mistake for new forums is making **too many boards.** It spreads your content out too much.

You should reduce the number of boards and generalize it a bit because it discourages people from joining seeing all those empty boards seeming like your community is either dead or not active enough and forcing your community of your size to restricted boards will have a very high chance of very little responses and activity.

Add more boards as your community grows.
  2. Been working on the sprites for my game(mostly just concept atm) and finished one of the few classes that'll be available. Overall, it's so so for me…some stuff I could have done to improve it but I'll fix it later until it's time to start animating and finalizing the CG concept art I'll be drawing to go along with it.

This is the Valkyrie class. Of course, you can see there was some inspiration for the design from VP.
It took me 4 hours from start to finish.

The caster class called the Tempest. Theme was snow/ice etc. Not much to say on inspiration, just whatever popped in my head. Took me a lot longer to finish this one until I was happy for some reason; 7 hours start to finish.
_Edit: Good god was the end piece of the staff ugly..thats what I get for doing it at 6am…changed it into something more tolerable..._

I'm planning to do a turn-based style MMO similar to the old school FF games.
I'll be adding more classes in the future.
  3. This is the live site of the mockup I did [awhile ago](http://awhile) which I posted in the showoff thread.

This is just the basic html/css structure right now and I'll be slowly integrating it into a forum with the same layout. The content and the links are all placeholders and the posts are just html  just to test the resizing of the site so it's not gonna be that long. Of course, the images are placeholders too..

The webhost is **temporary**…I know it's terribad.

After my finals are over, I won't mind designing more sites for people's projects but it'll depend if I think the project is worth it..

Edit: Webhost problems…will provide an updated link in a few hours <_<..
  4. @Grizzy:

    > Edit: I feel like my project must not be very good.. I'm struggling to get very good feedback on it compared to other projects I've seen on the Eclipse Board. :/. I've yet to have one person say it looks, or, sounds good and they would like to play it when it comes out.

And what's wrong with that? It just means you need more work and the feedback you've been constantly getting means that people actually see some hope in what you are trying to accomplish to even provide any.

If you take into consideration the feedback you get and stay vigilant to keep working, then you will keep improving till you eventually reach a level of quality people will accept. By then, you'd have some people who've been following your progress and maybe possibly take a peak at your game once you're done.
  5. It's still a work in progress imo and could be fine with some changes.

You sacrifice too much space for your navigation due to the size of your buttons and the sizes of your footer and header leaving not a lot of  content space. Scale down some stuff, clean up the little white stuff on your graphics and reorganize your regions and it should look a little better.

Another tip is that you could separate your regions with some margins and add borders to them like you did with your top buttons instead of straight edge cutaways.
