I partially Agree, the only reason I have a problem with that is that the newbs that are smart enough to look before asking, could see the questions that were already answered based on a title. But other than that, yea sounds like a plan.

    Wow, you are posting a lot of questions, have you read the tutorials? (Big Button on the top) I think your referring to a 'Block' attribute..? In the map editor look in the bottom right hand corner under 'Type' and hit the 'Attributes' button. Now select the 'Blocked' attribute, and tile it wherever you want blocked off from players walking.

    Its because your placing the tile down as a ground layer. Change the option to **Mask** (above ground),**Mask2**(above Mask/Ground),**Fringe** (Above Masks/Ground Player)or **Fringe2**(Above everything) in the layer panel (right side). Ground layers automatically make the transparent color black, so only use it for base grass/dirt ect.

  7. To tell you the truth, I see no problems really with this GUI. It's simple with nothing to really complain about. Gradients not bad, but maybe going flat like the rest would fit (personal preference). Other then that, the colors are just fine imo. What exactly are you guys basing your critiques on? Maybe his game is Silver/Blue themed? :P

    Kris is right, but the bigger the tile sheet, the more work the map has to go through to load each tileset used, causing lag.
  9. Could someone help me out with this too but for Eclipse Origins v2.0\. I've tried right clicking the HP/MP/EXP bars in Vb6 and hitting 'Bring to front'. No luck :/

  14. I agree with Miguu. Maybe a few like the ice cream pokemon are kinda lame, but the rest are pretty amazing. Especially with most of the 5th gens having clashing types (like bug+fire). It makes it way harder to just win by type advantage. I think the problem here is just nostalgia for the original pokemon, and some people don't want to much of a good thing. But that goes back to what gwen was saying about sports games and coming out with an exact same annual game with 1 or 2 new features.. pokemon -IMO- doesn't do that fortunately, and that should be a good thing. Its like playing a final fantasy game, same old game just new stories to play through. (Not a FF fan though so don't quote me on that). –----------- @Socuine: > Disagreed. Personally it would have been cooler as an all out action game, where the player gains temporary control of the pokemon during a battle.
