  3. ooh joined this thread a bit late guess ill just check out goodlord's or whatever his name was. oh well.
  4. This is for those of you who know nothing of magic. For those who know, skip this part. Magic the Gathering stories focus around Planeswalkers, those with the gift to travel among the planes of existence and who posess a lack of aging. Planeswalkers can also harness Mana- the cosmic energy that separates the planes from the Blind Eternities- what we call outer space. Anyways, these Planeswalkers have waged wars across Dominiara, Kamigawa, Mirrodin, Lorwyn, the Shards of Alara, Ravinica and more, constantly vying for power and new sources of Mana. Famous 'Walkers: Urza: the very first human planeswalker. He and his brother Mishra waged war throughout Dominiara and Phyrixia, a plane now extinct. Urza was a scientist and he experimented with Mana on various subjects, some human. Mishra used his power and a drug he invented to create an army of undead. The two messed with the planes and paid dearly by taking eachother's lives. Leshrac: Also known as the Dark One or the One that Stalks the Night, Leshrac is by far the most corrupted of the planeswalkers. He led a 2000 year reign before being killed by Nikol Bolas, a plainswalking dragon. Teferi: A walker who once had affiliations with the Great Urza, he was a bit rash but always eager to do the right thing. As Urza's time experiments came back to Dominiara, the first of the Great Rifts appeared. Teferi managed to close one of these rifts but lost his gift in the process. Culmination of the Planes basic storyline: The shifting of the planeswalkers have allowed for rifts in the time space continuum. These rifts, although small, have accumulated throughout the milennia. Now, the shifts have caused a sort of magnetic field amongst the planes, turning the ordinary citizens into the strongest of Planeswalkers as a result. But that's not all… the field had drawn the planes together at an alarming rate, masking their very nature until it became impossible to tell when a person was crossing through them. This new MotherPlane, Pangaea, Is a culmination of mana, a wild and dangerous place. You are a new 'walker in Pangaea, on a quest to mend the rifts as Teferi and his companions had once done. Info: This is NOT a card mmo. For that, play Magic: Online or Apprentice. Culmination of the planes (CotP) is a traditional mmo using Magic as a backstory in which all of the abilities, places, and monsters are straight out of the Magic cards and novels. If you ever wanted to duel with Rath atop the spiraling branches of Pendelhaven with your trusty Deathgreeter and Blanchwood armor, then this game is for you. Note: there isnt any summoning. The creatures are just that, creatures. Some legendaries will come up as bosses or npcs, but you will not be able to fill the map with a bunch of nova chasers. This is not pokemon. Gameplay Type: Real-Time Fantasy RPG Special Features: Other than the whole Magic ripoff thing, I'm thinking about a Planeswalk mechanic for long distance movement but for now not much beyond that. I need a ton of help since its only myself at this point so anyone could help me out with pretty much anything. Sorry for the lack of screenshots, but I've posted some requests in the resource requests forum and never got an answer.
  5. TY but it'll need a ton of work and im fairly new to eclipse (not game design in general, Ive done a few programs with flash, vb, mmf2 and fps creator among others) so if i don't get some help soon screw it. its not worth the copyright infringement.
  6. had an idea for a planeswalker mmo and need a ton of sprites anyone feel the need to make a few 'walkers or even a grizzly bears it would REALLY help out. anything from festering goblins to cloud sprites to nacatl warprides would make my day.
