I asked for everyone not to judge my maps, a few of them, such as the house were some of my first maps, so BACK OFF! doesn't matter anyway, i'm an admin for Tantra Global now, which i get paid for, so it works out well. Topic can be closed now.

Okay, i posted the same topic before…but it was locked. most likely because i was out of state. and i found out, i forgot to post any of my Screenshots. So here are a few. I haven't mastered Blending yet, i'll need a bit more practice. Also, i'd like a decent game to work on, and a game that NEEDS my help... this was the first map i've ever made  and this the second   Here's another screenshot. It's just a quick one i made in World of Tahl.  (New screenshots)    (EDIT) (I've gotten better, and i'll post the better ones soon.) They aren't the best, but in my eyes they're okay. I didn't post here for Criticism, so please no 'omfg, that's horrible man, get lost' please. These are only my first few map's i've made. (yes, i DO realize that i should probably practice more with it before looking for a job, but i'd like to talk with people as i work on these maps.) I don't have alot to offer, just similar maps like these if made from scratch, but also, i can do GREAT touch-ups. I was told by somebody that i did a better job with touch-ups than with making them from scratch. (but then she said i was good with making maps too, i'm just BETTER with touch-ups) I'm good with following rules (of course, who isn't? ;) ) and i don't take advantage of mapping (aka: making a spawn point for my personal gain, as in giving myself rare item-drops.) I'm not very good with scripting…i really haven't done it before. I can make good NPC's and monsters with Fair (but not too good) drops. (usually taking the monster's level and multiplying by two for gold drops. and making it like a 1 in 15 chance of getting that.) I don't NEED a Moderator or Admin position, i have all i need with just mapping. I just think that Admin positions are more fun. Pretty much saying: Give me rules, ill follow them Give me limits/boundaries, i won't push them Give me work, i'll finish it Give me a mapper position, cause you need one :P If you'd like a very fast response (within a few hours) email me at [email protected] or MSN is [email protected] also, i'd like it if i wasn't working alone on this. Maybe a few other people. I don't mind being the only mapper, but i'd like to have a few people there. Thanks.

sorry people…problems wit my computer...I have to get it fixed...(o a friends right now) As soon as it's fixed, ill post...don't loose hope.

sorry guys, i have testing, so i'm trying to keep away from the computer as much as possible. The server will DEFINITELY be up next Monday. as to what time, not sure. If possible though, i'll have it up this weekend.

well…the name, is already in every GUI...and title, and website...changing name would be more trouble than it's worth...

You need alot of help with mapping, thankfully…that's something i CAN help you with. I can teach you a few things about map making...head over to http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,34835.0.html to look at my game if you'd like to apply...Right now...honestly, your maps arent very good (barrels in the middle of a field?) But, you might GET better...i never want to pass up someone i can help out. (if it was scripting...you'd be out of luck xD)

Story: A few years ago, there was a great clash between 3 Clans. The Angelic, The Demonic, and the Imperials (human). This created the great Cataclysm. A large rip in the earth that had destroyed hundreds of thousands of lives…In this process, the Humans were almost wiped out. In this time, Angelica and Demonia took over, still fighting with each other. From the burned and destroyed villages, the humans arose...and fought back...now the humans are reclaiming their territory, and it is time for the kingdoms of Demonia, and Angelica to Cower in fear. that is the storyline so far. What Third-world HAS: 50 maps completed fully customized GUI (thanks to Slym) Head Mapper (me...but i would gladly give up this position to someone better) 4 classes: Mage Archer Knight Rouge (soon to be changed to Angel, Demon, and Imperial) 2 dungeons (small, and medium) with 1 boss each spell System (poor mimic of the real thing...only uses arrows that look like fireballs ect.) shops and a city People working on it: Me (mapper) Slym (unofficial) (GUI Editor) Cybercrush (unofficial) (mapper in the making) What we hope to have in this game: Clan Wars Clan Bases In game Flash arcade Clan Zones 200+ maps 10+ Dungeons 100's of monsters to kill 100's of items any suggestions could be made real Positions needed to be filled: Mappers: a few more Scripters: 1 or 2 Testers: 4-5 Server Host: 1 needed, at least 20 hours a day, 7 days a week and other positions i've probably forgotten. Well…Tuesday WAS supposedly the starting date of WoT...but i was not informed that it DID...so, i'm still in need of a job.

okay, I recently had a problem with this…but it's now resolved. so I thought I'd post a tutorial on how to get music working. ok everyone...I learned how to do this. So I'll post it here. Improved ~ Soul. Step 1: While in your game (after giving yourself admin status). Press F1. Step 2: Click on the third tab in that small window that pops up, from here you can make Items, NPCs, Shops, etc. Step 3: Click on Edit Map (or just type /mapeditor into the game), Step 4: Click on the Properties tab. Step 5: Click on the song you want, hit accept changes, and save map. Now, if only Fettevette and Critical work, continue listening. Otherwise, you are done. Go to the http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,38932.0.html Topic. Follow the instructions there.

ok everyone…i learned how to do this. So I'll post it here. First, download Switch Audio File Conversion software from http://www.nch.com.au/switch/ Then select the files you'd like to change. (mostly the .mid files, since that never worked for me) and then set them to .mp3 files. Click 'convert' and presto...they all work for me =D. I hope that helped anyone that needed music in their game =D.

how do i get Sounds such as rain, or music work? i've looked around…so please...none of that 'omg newb, it's EVERYWHERE' because...apparently, it's hiding in plain sight...can anyone point the direction out plz? or just describe it please?
