  1. There's actually a fix for the 339 error, my friend was also having color and all that issues, I gave him the link to the 339 run time error fix and everything works great now.

    NPC Shops

    Simple questions I hope. I made a shop Attribute in the shop I want, problem is since it shows up as a side window, people can walk around outside with the shop window still open, how can i fix this?

    Auto Game Installer

    Does anyone know how to do this? Make an installer so the game is installed on it's own into like C:localdisk/programs ? Only reason I'm trying to figure this out, is because the NeonCube auto patcher tut is really beginning to confuse me, it kinda leave out alot of the smaller detail that some people might need to understand things.
  5. …Well see I had it set to none before, and I created a legit account (normal player) and sure, the monster followed me, but it didn't attack and neither could I, and I had a weapon on that later, when I changed the morality, did 14 damage to it (of course the monster's attack was 50 so theres no way I was going to beat it lol) testing stuff is fun :cheesy: EDIT: Oh, and I DID set the monster to aggro, either way, I could press CRTL and "attack" the monster, but no damage was done, and well, me and the monster had some very heart wrenching, action packed, stunning staring contests :cool:

  7. Well I'm already having issues adding in monsters cause when I add a new row to the sprite sheet, for some reason it displays the monster i want in the NPC editor, but instead its a person's head on the map =\. So doing something like this is just…yeah. No clue where to start at this point.
  8. Well yeah, basic head then put a paper on the head to give it some hair (lol bald ppl if 0 is chosen) And I'm sure its a simple if 1= true sprite index (hair1)/(color1) something like that. But doesn't the source need to be changed as well so it can find the hair sprite? And I'm not even sure if that example I gave is right.
  9. I'm probably getting very annoying on the questions forum, so I'll make this the last one for awhile. How would I do this? Make an NPC that makes it able to change your hairstyle and hair color. If some one can give me like, the script and ect. to do this in some form of tutorial it'd be great! EDIT: To be more specific, Im using classes and I dont want the body, face, feet, nothing like that changed, only the hair style and hair color. And 1 more thing since this topic hasen't been viewed much. I was wondering how do I make more sprite frames for monsters, attacking, everything. All the 2 frame animations are really…limiting Thanks for answerin my questions! ^^
  10. Thanks for the ideas everyone, very helpful, actually. I found out the monsters weren't attacking because of the morality settings (it was set to none). As for the menus I'll have to try that, and the talking NPC's: I had no clue they needed stats to talk but I'll try that, thanks everyone ^^
  11. I've come across several issues, I can't seems to figure out at all. I set a monster on the map as an attack on sight monster…it follows the player, and that's about it. And CRTL is attack? Click the monster and rapidly hit CRTL? It does absolutely nothing at all. All it does is put the sprite into a...1 frame (omg) attack position. And next issue: "Press CRTL to talk to an NPC". Once again, pressing CRTL does absolutely nothing at all. So here are a few questions. If they can get answered ASAP that would be WONDERFUL! 1\. How do you make the attacking system work? IE attacking a monster and it attacks back. 2\. How do you talk to an NPC and is there a way to make an NPC chat box appear on the screen. Ex. When you talk to the NPC a box appears ABOVE the chat box and has what the NPC is saying, along with a "if yes = true go to RUMORS"

    New Actions

    Is there a way to add new character actions, like for example, sitting by pressing the insert button? If so can I get a VB6 code and info where to put it? And is this type of add on more expandable meaning, can you add more then just 1 new action.

  14. Good program, Love it so far. Making an online game has never actually been so simpler. Well…of course if your having trouble like me and DO NOT like the sprites that came with the program. The sprites LOOK LIKE THEIR KICKING THEMSELVES. How do I increase the frames to use for sprites, to give them a more realistic walking GIF? I've tested in my graphic program, and honestly...dear sweet god, WHY are the walking sprites COMPOSED OF 2 MAIN SPRITES!?!?!? That just honestly makes me want to bawl. Forward walking is composed of 2 sprites, and along with that, the attack is 1 simple sprite of the character putting his arm out. I'm begging for any way to make these sprites more realistic. Like take Zelda Minish Cap for example. If you search a sprite sheet for Link, his Left Walking GIf is composed of I would have to say at least 8 or 9 sprites! Can I get some info ? EDIT: Ok, so I found out to increase a row's capacity, I need to source edit. I'm fairly good with script and such so all I need to know is how to get into the source.
