so i 4x4, 16x16, 32x32, 64x64? i could make player sprites 64x64 and leave my monster sprites smaller?

So i'm limited to argh 32x32 or what ever the size of the sprite is? how would i go about increasing the size of the sprite so i can make the weapons longer, etc?

okay wait i get how to explain my problem now. How do i make the paper doll go over the character but also off the characters boundaries, so ill show you what i mean… First attachment is the one off the boundaries and the second one is the one within the boundaries see how i had to cut the sword?

any way i made a paperdoll and it dosnt line up? how do i get it lined up? i mean i placed it on the characters then removed the character… ah so confusing don't know how to explain that well..

Oh and also how would i go about making an npc run fast? so you have slow/medium/fast/reallyfast npcs and also if you know how to do this… how would i do it so there attack is slow and they move fast?

How would i go about making an npc flee at low hp or after attack? just don't say "Coding" "Source Edit" Also maybe a Fear spell? make the npc run away?
