    Simply set up a extra emoticon variable, called show or something. When you enter the emoticon, set the value to true (its a boolean) on the move sub set it to false… on bltEmoticon simply check if it has to show or not... shouldn't be to hard.
  2. first of all, I would recommend just adding a new spell type. When the buff is done, send a packet to the client with the info that your buffed (add a icon in the corner f.e.). now you have 2 options - add a timer and use that as the 20 sec reference * enable the timer at receiving packets * set the value to 20000 * when it goes off, send packet to server to debuff * disable timer - using tickcount * basically the same, but then in a if statement. Thats the basic thinking of a buff/debuff, good luck

  7. mh, i was commenting on why the spell system doesn't work in EE 2.7… To get spells "into arrows".. I would just look carefully on how the Arrows do progress. You hit ctrl, packet to server, checking if you can shoot, packet to client.. blit the arrow, when hit, packet to server "opponent hit" etc... Just basically do the same, add a new variable to spells to select the "arrow", when the spell is cast don't go to the CastSpell sub, but turn around like arrows. Copy, Paste, Edit... poopy stuff. I don't like those kind of things.
  8. to be honest, this is pretty nice. Maps look pretty decent as you have a lot of variation between the ground, some detail etc… mh *nods* good luck.
  9. I fixed this a while back myself, it was a issue with the targeting. (for me)
  10. These sprites can be used for big NPC's.. players can only go 64x64.
