  2. Ok. so, 2 questions. 1\. When does SE come out? 2\. But is there any way to keep them paperdolled? I like that aspect of the game because thats what makes it customizable and interesting….

I'm working on a mmorpg right now and have spent about a month developing graphics for it. now I'm having trouble loading the client on my slightly less competent computer (causes it to freeze cause the process takes up 200k kb of memory). Even though Im using a slightly older version of eclipse, I think the problem is the size of my graphics. Right now my sprites.bmp is taking up 16mb and my intems set was at 32 but I cut it down to 12. Regardless of whether I just need to get a newer computer or whether its just the older version, I am wondering whether there any existing, working templates that will alow me to break graphics from one file into several, and does anyone have any additional tips on making the client side of the program run faster but not compromise detail/features?
  4. Thanks Serdradox, that makes a bit more sense. I'm still wondering if theres a limit to the number of paperdolls on a sheet? can I just keep on expanding a template indefinently? sorry, I just have a huge number of Items I want to include.
  5. how would I go about expanding a paper doll template only designed for 450 items (http://img504.imageshack.us/my.php?image=itemsfr9.png) if I needed to include around 500 paper doll items and several non paper doll items on the sheet. I also am wondering how to go about including non-paper doll items to a paper doll sheet? is there anything special to do? These questions might seem dumb but I'm stuck at this point on my graphics project which has taken up the last several weeks and its driving me bonkers.
  6. Does anyone have anything on how to design the different levels/items/monsters so that the levels will work out. I am having trouble setting up different attributes in the right way.
  7. I have a question regarding sprite size. The standart sprites with the game come as size 64x64\. However, I have my own sprites that are 48x64. When I replaced the old sprites, the character was still using size 64x64…so it looked totaly screwed up. How can I make all new characters automatically start in the 48x64 format? Please Help....
