when will mapping be open? cos i could help map

Well it's got a good name , but i think those maps need abit of changing ;) The houses and the cement flooring don't really suit the rest of the map , tile mixing?. Secondly their isn't much information on the game , story , classes. Come on tell me why i would want to play this game :P but i would say looking alrite.

=========================================================== THE CHRONICLES OF ZELDA ========================================================== EDIT: Were also in need of a Server hoster , since my old one has magically gone missing. "The Chronicles of Zelda is back" and were currently hiring .. but but we've decided to start again due to lack of resemblance to the main idea of Zelda. **Our new idea** : Were planning to make a Zelda game , using the four swords multiplayer idea , mixed with Diablo 2 idea "Dungeon running". Basically you will start in a town from the land of Hyrule , which will provide all the items , equips , spells for you. Then in that town you will have portals leading to the outdoor/indoor dungeons which will consist of monsters and then a final boss at the end which will drop the key for the next portal. The last portal , which will be the final boss (the boss will be a famous boss , for example the twin witches) , will have a portal to the next town , and it will keep going like that till the final portal of the last town will be Ganon. **This idea is still in development.** The Storyline : Were going with the classic Zelda storyline , Ganon invades hyrule and takes over. You have to come and stop him. Feature List : 1) Quests 2) Choice of Class , plus race 3) A Huge Selection of weapons . 4) Top level is 100 5) Balanced out classes 6) WIDE range of skills , spells. 7) Remember the cow level in diablo 2 ? Were going have special levels like that. Who we need: 1) Scripters : We need Scripters who can at least script simple quests , such as kill 20 monsters and then given some rupees as a reward. Your job will be to script mostly items and quests and skills. 2)Mappers : You need to have experience in mapping and have the ability to map layers correctly and create "good" maps . 3)Artists: You'll be drawing and creating artwork of in-game content , such as weapons , etc.. or edited Zelda pictures. Also if you can create GUI that would be a bonus. 4)Anyone else : Maybe you have another skill such as music making , advertisement , website design , if you have contact me please. Mappers : Mappers will be creating/editing maps for the whole world , it will involve alot of time consuming … But the end result should be good. Hoster : If you want to host , you need it at least 22/7 and you must have a good connection + good computer. Scripters: You'll be scripting , scripted items such as items to warp .. etc. It's a totally new Zelda story . Were keeping the Hyrule map idea , just rearranging alot. Plus it's expanded alot! Maybe were going add another race? Who knows? Story: They say a Gate , a Gate to darkness. THE GATES OF Oblivion , a portal to which lead to hell. They say it's a legend for a gate of oblivion to exist , and were used in my days as a child as scary stories and nightmares. Of course it's not finished. We've decided to ditch the old maps and make new good ones. Balancing: As alot of you know , Eclipse is very unbalanced when it comes to classes and stats , were going try and edit this. Classes: 1) Warrior - High attack , low defence 2) Paladin - High def , low attack 3) Shaman - High offensive magic attack plus debuffs 4)Cleric - Ability to heal hp and mana , plus fight with 2 handed weapons. 5)Assassin - Use Bows and Daggers , plus fighting spells. 6)Amazon - Use High attack spears , with LOW LOW Def. 7)Ranger - Ability to use strong bows , and group spells. Some features were going include: ~Guilds~ Since their is going to be alot of towns , Were going make it so GUILD SIEGE will exist. This means a Guild will able to siege a town off another guild and gain control of it. (More ideas are planning on this GUILD SIEGE). ~Factions~ Maybe Jobs : To make people work together were thinking of given every class a Random job , for example someone may be chosen as a miner. As a miner he would mine for ores , then someone else might be chosen as a blacksmith. The miner would then give the blacksmith his ore and the blacksmith would smelt it and create a bulk of items to sell , of course you would need someone you trust , plus this may come to alot of scamming so this idea probaly won't come. Setting : Fantasy Hey , well I'm currently making a game "Tempter online" and were going be using Custom Sprites and tiles. So currently I'm in need of people who can can create sprites or tiles. If you can add me on MSN messanger. [email protected] Anyways the story : The Government Of The World "Tempter" was corrupted. It failed it's "requirements" to the people. After a while they started to steal , take , and thief people's lands and power. People died of hunger , Disease spread. People started to go against the government. A Faction named "Bara" was formed to go against the government and bring back the old ways which existed 4 years ago. The other faction named "Rhukki" , the party of the government. After the parties disagreed with each other , the only way possible to end this "fight" was to take the other one down. 3 Years ago , Civil war occurred In Tempter. Maps : I'm planning on making a big game , with loads of maps. This will include around 24 cities , 12 of them to each faction. , And some more stuff :D Scripting : I'm going make a request for a scripter to make a Faction script for which the First 7 classes are on the Bara Faction and the other 7 on the Rhukki Faction , and that they can PK in any map :). (Therefore making stuff like Raids , on World of warcraft). (Basically someone buys supplies and then travels to another town to sell them , they go through the trade route in which another faction members would wait to try and kill the merchant to get the supplies for himself).
