  1. Yeah.. They don't sprite RPG, sidescrollers.. Yeah, they're hell capable of spriting RPG, but no one can be bothered to make one, and not enough people are interested. Apparently there was a Halo Rpg, which shut down due to lack of sprites.. Thats why I say just F*ck spritesheets and make your own, get someone else to shade them. I'm now working on the Elite Variant for the game.. Client work will begin shortly.
  2. The other spriters I know, are great, but have an "attitude" to me.. They SPECIALISE in halo sprites, as they're called Halo Sprites, but they arne't exactly nice to me..
  3. This is something I'd like to be added to a further verison of eclipse. It's great on it's own, but I could do with this for my game.. Having larger sprites would be great, and would allow me and other shooting game owners to add weapons wish more ease to the game. I suppose this has already been suggested, and saw that it was going to be included in the cancelled eclipse improvement program. I just wanted this to be implemented into the next version for beneficial reasons. Thanks! -Kr.

  6. That sounds like a good offer adrian :) Urm.. Maybe you could join the team, if you can tell me your skills.. And don't worry. I will never pile you up with work, as HFI, will not have a huge amount of new coding.. Soon enough I will be making a demo game, which Adulse suggested, I just need some help to get my sprites right.. I do have someone to shade my sprites, but not to make the sprite proportionate, and so they fit the game properly. Just to note, this demo will be very basic. Just a proof of concept, I.E, edited GUIs, Mark VI armour and a test Island, where you can level up at your own will.. Oh, and one tiny other thing, is there any skills system I can implement into the game, for the actual thing. Not sying the game needs this, but would make it more fun, Ex, woodcutting, fishing, but not those ranks.. I just wanted to know if there was a resource for this..?

DrNova, I need Rpg sprites.. and not to mention ones that arne't dancing.. I also need to be able to paperdoll them, I have made a sheet of sprites, a test, unanimated. I have seen all of those..   8. Hey.. I'm looking for a graphics artist for my game, Halo: Final Ignition. No, no proper team yet, but I have The ideas and some small help, my game currently lays with no concept, but all ideas written down in this text ahead.. Basically I was Giving up, until I started putting some pixels together in Paint, and found out, *Wow! I actually sprited a decent outline!!* I know well, I need to pull my weight when making a game, which is why, I will happily design, all Guis, and map everything in the game. So, here's What I'll be needing.. Graphics - Sprite Artist - Good skills with making and editing sprites - Able to make Animations with other sprites - Able to adapt to my spriting Style - Good attitude, frieindly face :D Scripting place taken, I'd like to try and find a GFX artist if possible. –-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, so that's my list of what I need. I'll happily do what scripters suggest for me to do with the game, and take any advice they give me. Below, is a list of what YOU'LL get in return..; - Recon armour (Any choice of helmet colour and additional extras) - Flamehead, available in four different colours - Ability to map freely (Considering to leave alone all maps I tell you to, and that you do NOT destroy contents on maps) - Moderator privelages - Free weapons (5 Of your choice) - A personal room, with whatever you want stuck on the walls (Additional tiles please give to me, and I'll convert them accordingly) - Free Pet - 25 free levels That's what's up for offer. The idea for the helmets, is basically feeling like you have recon and no one else does XD So.. Don't think I'm a slag and haven't done a summary of the game, ahead are the details of myself, and about the game: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Story (Not really a story): You are A soldier.. Trained up and sent out to explore. Thousands of worlds will await you, along with large assortments of weapons. Are you ready for the Universe? Info/Summary (This is A LOT easier to explain): Halo Final: Ignition, is one of the few attempts on the internet, for an RPG based halo game. Many have tried and failed. But I'm not one to quit. The game will slowly expand into a large world, sort of like runescape, but with completely different Ideas, and many different characters.. Oh, and guns. In this game There will eventually be a large list of enemies, and playable characters, including: -Elites -Spartans -Naval Officers -ODSTs' -Marines And enemies including: -Grunts -Brutes -Jackals -Sentinels -Flood And much more to come. The game will be based mainly off Halo 2 and 3, allowing you to go to all sorts of the Halo Battlefields, remembering all of the different enemies, and the allies, that you lose. It will also include special rooms for members of the team, with ANY music of your choice to be played, and as larger room as you like. There won't just be Playable Marines, and other characters, but guard NPC's, you can meet on your path. A larger variety of weapons will be availible, rather than just the original weapons. Other edited versions of weapons will also be there. Helmets, and armours will also be part of your arsenal, giving you a wide range of different assortments. And the game will even include pets :D. I'm not totally sure what kind of pets yet, but I'll come up with something. And even more than that will be added through Development!! Time Era: Futuristic, 2530-2553 Range of years. Gameplay type: Aliens Vs. Humans Features: Uhem.. *Thinks* Nothing to date, as the game goes through further development, there should be more here, but here are the brief few things so far. -Large assortments of charcters I.E you were only able to play as two differnet characters in the halo games, as in Halo Universe, you can play as a large different ammount of characters. -New weapons, such as modified weapons that you only find in the books. -Credits as you never had in halo. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, sorry for the wall of text, but it is asked for in the recruiting section main :P Just to say, ALL team members have access to those features above.   10. Hello everybody.. I have been wanting to make my halo game for ages now.. And I've ALMOST cracked it. One problem is, are my sprites. I have them, and I have put them into a format I like, but number one, the guns won't fit onto the characters (Too wide), two I Can't change the size of the characters and three The sprites need to be positioned correctly in the 32x64 sprite style. Just to note, the game is top down, and uses the Old Rayg sprites.. Here is an example of my sheet. If you can help me with any of those three problems, it would be great :)
  11. Hey guys. I am NO expert with this game, lets get that over with first. First to note copyrights. Bungie, and Microsoft, now split, own Halo and all remarks and other resources from halo. Under Microsofts user Agreements, I can legally make and give out this game (If finished) for FREE. The spritesheet I am using, and editing is a very popular, and well know sprite sheet. The Old Rayg. I am able to use this sheet, WITHOUT credit, Which I have given anyway, and can edit it, as it is an outdated sheet. I will not give links to ANY member apart from ones that wish to join me. The job I am after today, is not a person that is going to make sprites from scratch.. No, I don't need that, as I already have them. But I am looking for someone I can trust to help me without stealing sprites I have already made (Not very good ones) that can do simple things, for people that are very good with sprites. Such as, adding arms and legs to sprites, and editing animations so they work with eclipse. Another notice is that unfortunately for this being a very new game, and very doubted (I don't blame people) I haven't yet recruited a team yet. Although, that's probably just because I haven't tried. But now I am. So, if you match any of those standards, please send me a message, or post in this topic, to verify what you do, and how you can do it for me.   12. Hey. I have a list of halo stuff I need.. I wondered if anyone would have some sprite edits that would work with eclipse? List - * Sprites - Master Chief, Grunts, Brutes, Elites * Tiles - Any halo tiles.. Doesn't have to be specific I.E Ship tiles All I'd need for the sprites is a set of walking down, up, left and right sprites. And for the tiles maybe a few covie and human ship-tiles. Thanks! EDIT: maybe some flood sprites?
  13. Hey. I'm new to Eclipse and i'm not sure whether or not anyone has asked this before. But here it is. I've known that NO older versions of Eclipse support this but wondered if the new ones did. I'm using Eclipse 2.6 at the moment and i'm confused to whether there is a way to make armour or such appear on your character when you are playing. I noticed in Eclipse 2.5, there were 2 files that were noted "Bodies" and "Legs". If not, is there any code I could insert that would allow this? Or should I request that a sprite change option should be included in the Edit Item section. It would be much appreciated if someone would help :grin: Thanks!
