Is it due to the fact i have portable on my computer also? or just a bad verison of VB6

When ever i go into VB6 i get this error. It doesn't seem to stop me from viewing or adding code but would like to know what it is before i go and put alot of effort into things to find out i get fucked over by it

Hi, This is most likely going to sound dumb but i am teaching myself VB6 from books and trying to get a good handle on the EO engine i know it doesn't have a scripting language and some other features but when reading my VB6 book it said i could import .dll files. Does that mean i can use C++ to make a scripting tool or quest tool something like that and import it into the EO engine or would i be better off just using VB6 to make them. I also have a firm background in C++ and some DirectX.

I actually have a person who knows php and mysql who says they are up to it. I was also planning to make everything custom in my game. I know that balancing will be a issue which i would put alot of testing into make it fair. Thank you though at least i know what i am up against.

Well i wasn't planning for it to be all pay just like items to help u boost xp gain or stuff along that lines

I know most games dont make money but i am working on a game and plan to have a store where people can buy cheap items were talking 35 cents to maybe a dollar is this aloud using EO
-
Well i already know c++ and DirectX just wondering cause i know .net is prety different then VB6

I am currently teaching myself VB6 so that i can make my own mmo using the eclipse engine as a jumping point but i was just wondering why we cant use any later versions of VB. I would love to learn a more up to date VB cause i can use it in more cases then just the mmo development.
