  1. @Kreator:

    > I can confidentially say that this plague of artists spriting 16 bit graphics was since I was showing off my graphics for Elandor Chronicles.

Yep, Kreator was the one who made people (including me) think 'hey, what if I tried doing those kind of graphics?' This spawned a huge retro pixeling fest, kudos for Kreator  XD
  2. @GuzmanM:

    > Actually I decided to make a retro game before you annouced your awesome sprites for Tales of Eberly. I noticed that our game ideas where very alike. So I decided to change to Greek mythology. I was talking with my friend on msn, and he came up that Chakkra was going to be my tileset artist. A big confusion. A while later Chakkra came out with a greek mythology mmo called Edonis. I was so ducking mad. But I left it behind and decided to base my game in other thing. All these happened like a month or two. I'm pretty angry with Chakkra by doing that. I just hate him. Now, I don't know what the duck to do.

Sorry bout all that, that does suck. But if you want my two cents, make the game _you_ want to make. Don't let other people's games get in the way of yours just because they share a similar ideas and a similar setting. Trust me, no two games will ever turn out the same. Even with similar ideas. Think of your project and stick with it
  3. Everyone seems to picking up the retro theme lately, I personally have nothing against it though, I love retro styled pixeling. However, with everyone making retro sprites of similar sizes lots of the graphics to look rather similar. I guess I could've expected nothing less tho, because they're all just using the same pixeling style.

Haha anyways that aside, the sprites are great Guzman. I like the choice of palette, overall nice work :D

    > I suspected this would happen one day, regardless I'm going to stand up straight and take all my experience and everything I learnt from this project. I will release and maintain a game, and a damn fine one at that. Elandor Chronicles is going better then any project I've worked on, the team is expanding steadily, and my motivation or interest has not even flinched. With no disrespect to Spainion, I had too many creative differences as well in World of Hyrule. That is absent in EC.

I'm very disappointed WoH was shut down, so I can't imagine what it must be like for you guys. But, that ^ is exactly what I want to hear at this point  :azn: This experience makes Elandor Chronicles even stronger than it already is, I can't wait to see how it turns out. Best of luck, EC will be the greatest. I hope for only the best  :cheesy:
