I am a man of a few words…
But lets not drift off topic about legal stuff because this thread is about pokemon cyrus online. If you want discuss legal information about fan games you can create new thread. But if you still think posting this information is right place then i can tell you that you are not a first one to do so nor the last one.
When i find time to rework advertisement resources i will do so and tweak this post with more up-to date information.

There was another pokemon mmo that was closed down recently.
They didnt make any money, but they were open source meaning that anyone could download the game and start own server. -
