Had the same problem its somethin wrong with the files system on your pc after i put a new os on it worked like a charm

no spaces nothin but once u match the ports on the server and client it does it no routers or anythin else yes i tried all that if i run the source and debug when it crashes it highlights this GAME_NAME = Trim$(parse(1))

Iv gone through all the guides and still no luck everything goes fine till i change the client port to 4000 then it gets rte 9 subscript out of range but only when it trys to talk to the server any one hav a idea

ok ill start right off sayin im not a vb genius so plz humor me ok I have the source for ee2.5 I hav no problem compiling the client and making the exe and wrking with it my problem comes with the server I try to run or make the exe it has ambiguous name problems is there a way to get around this in vb or do i have to alter somthin and if i hav to alter somthin wat thx

I've searched quite a bit of the forums but been unable to find anything pertaining to my question I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the item pickup so you can be next to it facing it to pick it up instead of on top of it
