  1. Made a quest system. Ronald the paedophile sits outside of town using any Takai Root you give him to make some date ra… Takai Potions. I seem to have broken my takeitem subroutine though, so at the moment you can use one root to make infinite potions. That would be a pretty devastating bug, if you couldn't already use a potion infinite times anyway xD

  2. Tbh, I think the rotation is far too much. Would look a lot neater with some zany re-colours or simply some distortion to the graphics.

    Here's some quick skewing I did in paint. You'd get some better effects with more time put into it.

    Finally got my old domain off of my ex-host.

    Uploaded the old skin, but I couldn't find an uncorrupted copy of the database, so you'll need to re-register if you had an account last year :3

    Not as easy as that. I saved the .psd as a flattened image by accident, so I'm having the build the GUI around the basic, but without changing it xD

    I'll try it a bit later by re-doing the border with a new texture.

    Added icons and began work on the equipment menu.

    Anyway… if you can put that button into a matching GUI that looks good in your game, I'll give you a medal, because it's bloody impossible ;D

    Keep your GUI simple. Use a couple of textures, keep it neat and tidy and make sure it doesn't draw attention away from the game itself.
  7. By shiny, I mean it's far too 3D for a 2D game ;D

    As for the old-school feel, I don't see how such simple games could have any appeal any other way o.O
  8. Use something other than paint.

    You can't make a good GUI without at least a few features from a higher-level image manipulation program.

  9. Server down. Re-working a couple of things then I'll re-release in a couple of days.

  11. Well, this one started out in Konfuze, then ported to Elysium, then port to Eclipse, then ported to Mirage. I used it as the base for Essence, so I'm just gonna use the latest release of that. Saves me having to re-do any of the programming and I can just concentrate on making some fun quests and balancing the classes out.
