I believe, in order to make an Eclipse game commercial, you must make the game appear as if it isn't, well, Eclipse. (No "cookie cutters") Also note that a serious game with Eclipse should take more than just a few days. XD

Sometimes in Windows XP, using Window's Media Player will shut off your SW Synth Sounds in your Volume Control. Try opening the Volume Control (In your Taskbar next to the time display), and turn your SW Synth back up if it is down.

Here's what I've done: Port forward the following, if they were already forwarded, no need to mess with them. 4000-4005 7234 10000 Configure your server data to use the "7234" port instead of 4000\. Go to IPChicken, or WhatismyIP, and get your IP Address. Config your game client's IP to Your IP, and the port to 7234\. If this doesn't work, try the other ports you've opened, saving 4000 for the last resort.

Which language? One that comes to mind instantly is "Advanced Dungeouns and Rabbits", which is a fully featured RPG system for a phpbb2 Bulletin Board (phpbb2 not phpbb3). If this isn't what you're looking for, please be more descriptive.
