your client and server should both be in a file called "eclipse" or something like that. i suggest moving the install folder into the eclipse folder and using the installer.exe (this has always worked for me) and from there you dont need to move any files around

i would suggest a way to make it so players can walk through a pet so you dont block an area off by standing there with your pet

Ok so i got this out of nowhere. I downloaded the 2.8 in announcements and for some reason it wouldnt let me open the server. Downloaded the library files and it started working but i couldnt use the client. I can get all the way to picking a character and when i sign on i get this error. Error initializing DirectDraw! Make sure you have DirectX 7 or higher installed and a compatile graphics device. Err: 429, Desc: ActiveX component can't create object I downloaded the newest DirectX and it didnt do anything. I tried a few of the fixes on the forum and they also don't work. I decided to go back to my old server that was working. Same problem and not sure how to get rid of it. I'm using XP(NOT VISTA) and have tried while i host the server or a friend. any help would be appreciated.
