  1. ye but i'm good at finding bugs and little details. I something doesn't look right, It just doesnt… And i got 3 friends wanting to join the beta... so :D huray
  2. @Anna: > 2 tiles below the bottom of the stairs; I'm assuming this is because the screenshot is two maps pasted together; if it is a single scrolling-sized map then it's just a bad tile. its just me being lazy and not paying attention when working with paint XD its a scrolling sized map,but you still have to move you character ^^

  4. well, you could get away with these graphics if you would put more detail in it… and ofcourse you would have to make amazingly fun gameplay,else it would be a boring game i think. go more for an action style rpg, rather than a boring grinding rpg on this one.

  6. :renzo:Hi everyone I've been working with all versions of rpgmaker for a long time. And I got to say, eclipse's map editor brings alot of advantages to map making. It does take longer to make map, but it looks more detailed, that because you can mix up every tile you want. It would be so cool if you had like 4 layers of animation, but i guess thats not for today cuz I got no skills in coding. Anyway, here it is, my first eclipse map I think i'm going to name it ruined path. its just a piece of the map cuz I'm to lazy to prinscreen the entire map. hope you like it. btw, any tips for adding more variation to the water? Also, you might want to use the colors from the cliffside so the golem matches it, unless you wanted it to stand out. Other then that it needs more detail (add cracks, ridges, etc.) and the top seems off center from the bottom. You mean cracks and ridges on the golem? Cuz I just made a quick map to show the collor difference. I do want it to stand out and thanks for the hint about the top being off bottom frmo the center, I can easily fix it by ajusting the position of the head. the Dithering is also distorted by the image format, but could you give me some hints on how to use the dithering right? cuz its my first atempt, even my first at making a sprite XD
  8. Hi everyone, I registered to this board a long time ago, but I recently decided to really put effort in making a small rpg. The goal I wan't to achieve is to make high quality maps with a decent collection of paperdolls and some interesting bosses. The main goal of my game is people to have fun, I'm not aiming for a large scale game,cuz be honnest, who has ever completed a big mmorpg in eclipse, on his own? Well,here is my endboss, the cyan golem. you will find him in an demon-castle interior rpgmaker xp style map.   11. hi everyone,most of you haven't ever seen me on the forums but I'm messing around with eclipse for one year or so… I've just started to make an extremely big paperdoll collection for my new game, I'm working on 2 projects at a time, the first is sticks and stones,and the other one doesn't have a name yet but it is pvp based with modern maps. that reminds me,i found a website where i could download allot of modern industrial like maps,also with 2 space laboratory's included,its free to use,but i think i have to have the permission of the owner to post it on this forums,I will do it when I've editted it completely so it has no buggy parts. I'm kinda wondering why everyone is so excited with ee2.7 and what is so good about it,what new features will it have. the few that have seen me on these forums know that my spelling is bad,so I use spell check very often :D don't blame me for that anyway,I'm now doing my modern PvP game,I've seen someone post a WIP that is similar to my game,so I didn't want to copy him,normally I would have made (zombie vs rebels),but now I'm doing (OMEGA rebels vs ALPHA rebels) or something,I don't know yet. The only thing i require for this game is a faction pvp script,which i kinda got a clue how to make,but I can't script,so if anyone already has made a faction script,or want to help me out,message me. I believe I will make an free to join BETA because i is pvp ofcourse... I'm a pretty good mapper atleast I believe i am,i used to make allot of games with rpgmaker 2000/2003/Xp and now VX (new one came out this year) but i kidna like eclipse alot,the only thing I hate is that I can't script and it bother's me,but it doesn't scares me to begin a project

NOTE I CAN'T SCRIPT BEACAUSE I CAN'T USE COMMANDS SO I PUT IN WORDSi was just wondering,i would like to change respawns on death. ex: a players goes to a church and can choose to respawn there so i could like put in main.txt: on death teleport to(WarpVar) just said in text,not codes and in the other script that activates when you select yes: if query=yes Warpvar=get the current location so would the main script use the variable i set in the other script?

I have some question about stuff i don't want full scripts i just want functions. please help if you know how how do i make a player move even if he doesn't want to? ex: a guard pushes you away also -how do i retrieve a players hp/str and so on -how do i make a message appear that only appears to the player activating this. -make a message appear to everyone in the map -make an global message appear how do i force an npc to: -move -use a spell -attack -stop attacking -make an npc appear on the map -make an npc die -make an npc teleport -make an npc from scratch how do i: -add extra strenght -add extra strengh(or something else) over x time -make a timer -make my character teleport -make my character teleport to another map -change respawn point

    well i was kinda looking around on this forum and i saw that alot of ppl have like different versions of EE,hail even asked me what version i use because i had bug with mine not saving the atributes,i just downloaded the one from the www.freemmoprmaker.com page but what version is that,and how can i get another version? thanx,beastypet
  15. well i was kinda ripping the tiles from rpgmaker xp,in paint but when i use them in the map editor they background stays black instead of transparent:( how do i fix this ps:the backgroudn is black and set in as background
