Name says it all. Player economies make most game more nteresting, and give skills more clout

Can you look over the combat and magic calculations, and find out a definitive formula? I cant figure out through experimintation how exactly damage is calculated ver armour, and spell damage, ect. Makes balancing difficult when it seems to work so awkwardly. Various people have told me different things, but none of them seem to be very correct.

Anyone else ever seen it? I just rented it on my 360, superb movie. If something similar happened to me, I wouldnt hesitate before handing out my own justice.

I've been considering it, anyone think its a feasible idea? If the mapping followed the same layout of the original ff7 world, and all the meat of the world was there, do you think its possible? Of course the graphics wouldnt be the same, and it would be set in a timeframe after the FF7 game, and ignore Advent Children(good movie, but just a money ploy) Any thoughts?

Well, Jut finally got released from the hostpitol. Been away from Eclipse for a while latley, I developed a pretty bad case of pnuemonia in both lungs. Still am pretty sick though. Can hardly move around without pain, crapload of pills and breathing treatments, not fun at all. Just wanted to fyi on where I've been, I havent been physically able, much less even felt up to, working on my project latley. Hopefully all these med will help out sooner then later. My immune system is a champ though, this is very rare for me, I should be allright soon. tty all laters in a few days hopefully

Anyone else getting lag and "to long to respond" on forums right now?

You know, I wonder how many of these "guests" are bots trying to post spam and crap, and not real people. I mean, looking over some of the topics they look at. People's profiles? The calander? and the other topics you wouldnt assume a guest would be visiting. I'm willing to bet that some if not most of them are bots. There are always tons of guests on strange places..

Anyone see why this isnt working? I'm stumped. I have the folders and everything, and a similar line that works with just the get player map in the .ini. I see no reason why the extra &'s arent working, and dont want to resort to Dim's, would work but add more to the script. Since Christmas has become a corperate consumer love affair, and people have forgotten the meaning of the holiday, even the non christian, simply sentimental and freindly meaning, I've devised a new law to do christmas correctly from now on. THE SCALE All gifts will be rated next to the UPC code with a number from 1-4, gift ranking. LEVEL ONE Gifts under this rank will include usless and generally unwanted items, such as, hygene products, clothing not in your size or unnatractive, ANY sweaters, snowglobes and other trinkets, basically ANYTHING christmas themed(seriously, this gift is only useful one day a year) and other things of this nature. LEVEL TWO Level 2 gifts are things that may or not be useful, and while not particularly wanted for a gift, are decent enough to be keepable at the very least. Gifts in this level include BASIC clothes such as socks, underwhere, plan blue jeans or simple colored shirts(of a style and size the recipient will wear), cards, candy, most types of books(some books may be above level 2, if within the recievers interest zone), giftcards to places the reciever wouldnt normally shop but might find something useful at, pictures, movies of decent quality, non electronic toys, and other things fitting the above standards. LEVEL 3 Level three gifts are both useful and within the recipients interest range. They do not have to be flashy, only something the user might buy on their own. This includes quality clothing, dvd's, shoes, tools(if the recipient uses tools semi regularly), wine, gift cards below 50$ for all purpose stores such as walmart k mart and any other malls of this style, sports equipment(must be in a sport the recipient plays), watches, non precious stone jewlrey, board games, and other things that fit the above requirments. LEVEL 4 These are the gifts that people look fowards to, hope for, and would buy themselves without second thought. These gifts include all game consoles, most electronics such as tv's dvd players camera's ipods, gift cards over 50$, any expensive fluffy blankets, and other things that people ask santa for and usually dont receive. **RULES** FOR GIFTS BETWEEN MULTIPLE PARTIES When giving a gift to someone you know is giving you one, both gifters must agree on a level minimum and adhere to it. If both gifters only are giving a gift for the sake of giving, both can agree on a level 2 gift, for example. If said gifters are freinds, they may agree on a level 3 or even 4 gift level. This prevents one gifter from giving a crappy gift to someone who got them a quality gift. Having an agreed on minimum gift level prevents hard feelings and equals the playing feild, giving both gifters a gift appropriate to the level they are willing to give. If no agreement can be made between the two, both members MUST give a level 3 gift for being bastards. SINGLE GIFTERS For those gifting without knowing or expecting a return gift, level 2 is the automatic minimum gift, as if your willing to give a gift and not expect one in return, you should be willing to give an at least DECENT gift. No giving levels 1's just because your cheap/ HOME MADE GIFTS Home made gifts that take over a minimum of 2 hours to make can qualify as a level 2 gift, over 5 hours can qualify as level 3 gifts. This is fair with the amount of effort you were willing to put in, even 2 hours isnt alot of time, so level 2 rating is fitting. This is the rough draft, but basically outlines my plans for shaping the future of christmas after I take over the world. If you do not agree with or do not like these plans, please stop being cheap bastards, or scrooges, and take christmas meaninglfully. Even athiests are not apart from these rules, as the basic meaning of christmas, at the VERY LEAST, is about giving to others, family, togetherness, and other emotional happy type things. Those who hate christmas and hate happy type things are generally emotionless or emotionally flawed, and will be locked in camps, only to be released upon completion of a "reprogramming". Jews and Huanaka are exempt from this, if the jewish community endorses my world takeover, because I cant even spell haunaka, and know nothing about its customs. However if jews get pissy about my world domination, and are seen in protests, they will be included in the above rules regardless. Any other cultures, who share some sort of holiday similar to christmas will also abide by these rules. Those cultures who do not have such a tradition will slowly be worked into it via a 5 year "transition" program. Thank you for your time, and seasons greetings from your future overlord.

I dont know if this is a bug or what, but.. When using a scripted spell, the mp cost for that spell doesnt seem to be subtracted from my "mp". I also scripted in the mp subtraction, and that didnt work either. There some kind of 2.4 mp bug or something?

Finally to the point where I can begin work on my project, and the current 2.4 download cant load scrolling maps. I hope 2.5 comes out soon, or someone can tell me how to get scrolling maps to load. Or tell me for a fact they are bugged. (for the record, I'm no noob, someone replies with a dumb noob suggestion like "you have to delete maps first when you switch to scrolling" I will flip the hell out.) A working version of EE would be nice. I'd rather have a "non encrypted" version to work on till encrypted is released then switch over.

What the heck is wrong with scrolling maps in he current 2.4 download. it RTE 9's ever time I try to log in. All maps are scrolling, I know how it sets up so no stupid noob solution awnsers. Whats wrong with scrolling in current 2.4 download.
