Well for some reason my game is starting to use a LOT of CPU when it's running and I have no idea why. Yes it's running using TE but it's been that way for years and has never had this problem till this week. A few days ago I got a new computer and before I moved all my files over I decided to run the game one last time to make sure it would be ok when I moved it over. Well after playing for a min or 2 I noticed I wasn't able to open any other programs. According to my task manager the game was using 100% of the CPU. So anyway, the computer had a bad CPU to start with with not much ram, so I didn't really worry about it since I was about to set up the new computer which has a dual processor. Well, I still have the same problem. Although it doesn't reach 100% on the new PC, the % usage goes up to around 50% and I can really hear my computer kick the speed up. Does anyone know what's going on? Why would this problem just happen out of no where after 4 years? Also if there isn't a way to fix it (other than downloading EO) could this be harmful to my CPU?

I mean it's been like what...3 or 4 years and I've gone with out a single error? I mean I've had a few but never any that kept me from logging in like this. Any idea how to fix this? I've already reinstalled the library files just to make sure that they were still working, but that didn't work. Members are logging into the server so I know it's not a server problem. Whats up with this?

I lost my web site! What happened? did eclipse stop hosting sites or something!?

I have no idea why this keeps popping up. Yesterday night there was about 15 + members online and the game worked fine. But today it keeps getting this error. When does this error go off? it goes off when ever a member logs in basicly….. the longest a member has been online with out it RTEing was about... 2 mins..... Does any one know what is wrong?

run-time error '70' permission denied that keeps coming up…... we used to get script out of range but now that that rte is gone this one keeps coming up X_x

I've been looking allover the forums for it but i can not find it. Does any one still have the url of it?

I dont know whats up with this guy but he logs into my game every min and starts typing in all the staff commands. after awhile the game crashes and it goes offline. I have found this guys name is "Dan" and how i know he is typing staff commands and stuff is becasue in the logs a few times hes miss spelled them, or had a space. any way you guys might want to look out for this guy. btw his ip is 86.42.104.209 just incase you would like to know.

Here is a program that is easy to use that lets you play eclipes games using a game pad/joy stick! Ok first of all you need to download this file. http://www.oneswitch.org.uk/2/I/JoyToKey/JoyToKey.htm Once you download this plug in your joy stick or game pad into the usb port. Once you do this extract the files and run the .exe file. Now a sceen should pop up with a lot of diffrent things to the right. It should say some thing like. –---------------------- Left................none Right..............none up...................none down...............none button1...........none button2............none ------------------------ (or some thign like that) any way this is where you set your keys To start out for eclipse games you want to double click left. Now that you have done this a box will pop up. Now to the far left there will be 3 text boxes. Click the top one and click the left airo key. This should set it so the Left button on the game pad/joy stick is the left airo key. Now just do the same for the rest. Up is up down is down right is right and of corse left is left. Now you get to the button part. The buttons will be numbered 1 though how ever many buttons your controler/joy stick has. Just set these buttons to what ever is best for you. Really the only buttons you need to set are... CTRL Enter and Shift HOWEVER if your game pad has more than 1 joy stick (such as a ps2 controler) you can also set them buttons to control the mouse, and set another set of buttons as the right/left click. This way you will not have to use your mouse. Just your Controler and your key board to talk to others. For more info over the mouse please scrool down. OH and if you do NOT know what button is what number on your game pad you can go under "control pannel" of your computer and go to the game pad file. Once this loads you will see your game pad's name. Double click it and a box with numbers will appear. Just tap a button now and it will hilight what number it is. ------------------------ Now one last thing here is an EX of how you could set up a controller. I'll use a PS2 controler to explain.(Xbox 360 controler would also work nicly for this kind of set up) For this i would have: Joy stick left=left right=right down=down up=up X=shift Square=attack O=enter Joy Sitck 2 left=mouse left right= mouse right up=mouse up down=mouse down R1=Left click R2=Right click So there is 1 way you can set up your controller. If you are using this type. If you are using another type set it up best for you. Note: If the shift run is glitchy for you, you can also set shift as the second button slot so shift is on as soon as you run. ------------------------ MOUSE INFO: When setting the mouse you can set the speed of which way it goes. I have found that around 30 is the best speed. It is faster and gives you good control. So it would be best to set them as -30, 30, -30, 30. ------------------------ Well any way ENJOY! ------------------------ Note: also if you dont want to use the key board at all not even to type.... you can install a speach program so you can give the game voices commands to type. However this may be hard to do and will not always work..... but it is up to you if you want to do this or not. Its just another choice that you can pick from to control the game. So this controller set up is best for when you just want to play the game alone and not chat with any one.

Ok we have been redoing our game for its anaversrey and one of the changes we have made makes the game look a lot better….. however the change also makes it impossable to see the title of a notice so........ i was wondring is there any way to change the black text to white? (and yeah this is in TE) thanks for the help

Iv been useing eclipse for about 5 months now…. that is the only thing i never used before...... so what do they do?

On my game latly iv been getting people from mexico, and other places around the world…. so i was wondering, is there a way for there to be a script or some thing where you can pick what language you want the game in? Im useing total eclipse btw.... so can any one help me out here?

Ok i loged in today (before the morning rush of kdw), and there were 4 others on. One of wich named "Nutty". As i looked at it i noticed some thing. THEY HAD NO LOG IN NAME! So i looked in acounts, NOTHING! This member is in the game with no log in, or password! They have been sitting still for about an hour now, and i do have a pic of the server.  So what do you guys think it is?!

when i go into the server (when its offline) and change it to 1000\. the game wont load! but the thing is now im maxed out on maps and all our maps are almost full! so is there a way to go to 1000 or past? (im useing total eclipse right now btw)

some one at nsider made a post about it and they locked it saying Sorry, but since this game utilizes the unauthorized use of copyrighted characters, this has to be locked. I strongly recommend making and using original sprites, and basing a MMORPG after that. now look THE GAME IS 100% free! So whats the deal with this?! why is this mod doing this!?

because i was looking at ninendo and it said its iligeal to make fan games, but eclipse comes with other chacacters from other games allready put in. and that is allready enouf to make a game.. so is it ligeal or not?
