well, i posted this on my GFX forum, but some of you might be able to use it too. since this has to do with sigs i put it here, but if it should be elsewhere someone can move it. Down to business. this is how to make a grid effect in photoshop, but the same technique can be used for scanlines First, open a new document (Ctrl + N) with 3x3 for dimensions.  Zoom in to about 1600% so you can see the individual pixels, select the pencil tool (right click the brush and click pencil). change the size of it to 1 px, then draw a black line like in the picture below:  Then on the toolbar, click Edit >>> then farther down click Define Pattern. Name it whatever you like. press (Ctrl + N) again to open another document (make it sig sized, the example one is 400x125). click the paint bucket tool, then click the dropdown up top where it says foreground, and click pattern. then click the dropdown to the right and select the pattern we just made. http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/9650/3ce1.png open a new layer in the sig document, then click in it with the paint bucket tool and you should see your new pattern!  now change the blend mode of this layer to multiply, then make a few layers under it with the background, and whatever else you want, save it, upload, and your done! Ok i need some constructive criticism: which of these two do you like more? i can't decide which i like more, so i saved both  

well i havent really posted in awhile so i figured id make a sig. its not very good but i just need something to do to keep myself busy.

 and when he gets photoshop back hes gonna make one and then were gonna make a poll for whose is better, but i made mine so im just posting it now for comments and criticizims

about 3 mins ago an account was registered on our game that didnt have admin access 4, and he someone gave it to himself he claimed to be marsh he then proceeded to ban everyone on the server, so i server banned him his account names were: Ashnehua RafaPunx Shoudyn and another one i cant remember cuz i deleted it his IP was 201.15.204.140 so i IP banned from our forums and game

well i looked at bobosk's tutorial and i figured id try a desert map, i do admit though the first does look like his O.o so all in all i was bored so i took an hour and made these i also put a "world map" so u can see how they line up     im in no way finished with it, but i just wanted opinions on how it is now i plan to fix the levels on these, "uncluster" the flora and add other stuff so it looks more aesthetic to the eye, and wont make mine bleed >.o also the fountain on the third map is animated, dunno if that matters or nothing
