is there a way to put npcs where u want them becasue u took out the npc spawn feature so if u cannot spawn them where u want to is there any chance u can put it back in in the new version

i would like to have keys to get into houses how would i do that and if i put the keys in a shop how would i make the shop only have 1 key so that people wouldnt get into other peoples houses
