I'm starting work on a project based on an obscure GBC game, Magi Nation. However I don't know how to rip tiles and I'm stuck. Can somebody help me out? P.S. Here are some screen shots of the game it's based on

I've been experimenting with Eclipse for a while (about 2 months) and thought it was time to start a real game. I'm just looking for someone to help me rip the tileset out of one game. I'm just wondering is it possible to change the default size for tiles from 32x32 to 16x16? I know scripting won't do this and I couldn't find a relevant topic in the rest of the fourms.

I'm trying to start up a webcomic but there is probelm. I'm fed up with trying to sprite and becuase I can't draw for crap, I need an artist. I have been seaching for 7 monthes now and have found no one. This is the last try before the comic just dies. The story: In the near future, the twin developments of genetic engineering and artificial intelligence, humans entered a new stage of what seemed like endless bounty. Disease is nearly eliminated. Fusion provides the power for the world. War seams likes a bad memory. Mankind however, can never stand still. Groups of terrorist organizations appeared, taking advantage of the peacetime atmosphere. The machines that man relied on turned on him. The genes they changed mutated them into horrible creatures. In short all hell broke loose. As the world spiraled into chaos, ancient weapons were deployed. Nuclear weapons from an age long past were brought to bear against opposing nations. Soon most of the world was turn to rubble. The few survivors try to make sense of their new world. Mutants, crazed machines, and the land itself all were against them. The comic comes in here about a band of survivors. So what do you all think? Is the plot any good? Will you help? EDIT: Fixed the spelling mistakes.

Well what do you all think? The character's will be disclosed later, when the need arises. Marsh's Bad Day:  This was just some random comic that I put together and I hope that it gets a few giggles. I know Marsh (yes that's Marsh's character) isn't that angry toward questions, but I figured, what a better way to kick off a story comic then to have a main character acting strange.

Anyone hae a blank GUI for the latest version of Eclipse?

For a while now I was thinking about doing a comic for the Eclipse community. It is going to have characters based off current Eclipse members and the story will be open for anyone to help out with. Characters will incude: Current Eclipse vets that wish to take part. Some friends of Eclipse vets. Some made up characters. Story will be made up by a group of writers. Scripts will be made by me until a beter person comes along. So… Comments?

I iwsh thier was a thing that would generate a main.txt based upon input that you give it. It could come preprogramed with a bunch of basic options like: Scripted tile, timer, if/then statements, etc.

Okay, a few questions: 1)Can a script tell if a caracter is male or female? 2) Is it possiable to assign a sprite bassed on a global timer and if the character is male or female? (i.e. you start off on map 1 and you are given sprite 3 becuase the timer is currenty 4000) 3) Should I start giving out screenshots of my next project soon or should I wait?

Time for another one of Alex's crazy ideas. This time is for a ture Harvest Moon Online game (no stealy idea). I was thinking, with scritable timers, you could make it so you could really harvest crops and other things (milk, eggs, etc.). I just want to know before I get started, if my idea is just stupid AND impossiable. If not, I'll start ripping the tiles tonight.

I'm looking for anyone here how can draw, or knows of anyone who can draw. Not picky on style. I need someone who can draw becuse I want to start a non-sprite based webcomic.

I'm wondering how do you rip sprites form a GBA ROM? Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls is the ROM I'm tring to rip from.
