  1. Yes it worked. Sorry i thought that was expressed with me saying " I ended up.." Sometimes i assume people know what i mean. Bad habit of mine. Hope it works for you as well.

Although it was 4am and i could have missed something and still confused to this moment why it didnt work. I ended up taking the blank EO folder renaming it and merging my existing files (moving the files 1 by 1) from my older game folder into the blank EO template folder. Hope this helps.
  3. K…i do have a version of VB6 of that type. Its the compiling thing that confuses me... I understand i need to go back make sure the mod is added correctly and in its right place by opening each file individually and then....(this is what i dont get) By compiling do you mean saving? and moving on to the next file? Or do you mean there is a special function called compiling...Sorry for so many questions but my game is literally at a stand still if i dont figure this out..and the last time i went to school and used coding/scripting on a regular basis was 20 years ago and all they had was just "Basic"..and i was coding for a major MUD text world game. I know im old and a bit late to be getting back into this sorta thing but i would really like to solve this and move forward with my dream of having created my own world in a VISUAL video game instead of the many MUD worlds i have worked on in my younger years. Thanks again.
  4. Ok so i did Alatars quest mod..step by step…however the problem i encountered is i cant open the quest editor, using either the end key or the /editquest command. It replies "Not a valid command!" Here is what i have tried.. 1\. Double checked the script where the edit quest command and key is entered. (no problem there) 2\. Made sure i was admin 3\. Restarted server including reloading, and making another admin account. Here is what i was told... 1\. The problem is i used notepad to add these scripts instead of vb6 software. Sooo... 1\. I double checked the files (after editing) were saved correctly = meaning back to its orginal file name. I was then told... Its because i didnt use VB6 and compile after editing.. HUH? This makes no sense to me...Can anyone shed some light on what this means and if its accurate how do i do it? P.S.: Thanks in advance and btw...this community has been great.
  5. Aye, I did bring alot of my old tile sets already over to the EO side, mainly because im familiar with where everything is…but your right. Would be more hassle then its worth. Thanks.
  6. Is there a way to import the maps i created back in eclipse evo v2 to my eclipse origins v2? without any scripting or major work..wondered if there was a easier way then having to redo all the maps i already worked on

Just installed this…went step by step and got no errors or any problems starting the server and logging in...the only thing i cant figure out is why the /editquest or end button is not bringing anything up..have no way to get the menu up .. Pretty sure i didnt miss a step but i guess i obviously did something wrong... Anyone point me to which step or a way to fix this... P.S.: On a side note..i dont have to have a npc spawned to edit the quests right? i mean i can just create the quests and place them later?

Is there any Quest makers out there compatible with EO v2 and i noticed during my search that the quest makers available require other mods too, but they also seem to be for older versions… So my question is... Are there any quest makers that are up to date to work with EO v2...and if they require other mods are they also up to date with EO v2? P.S.: Reason being is i dont want to add a system to the game that in the end will result in my bugging you guys on why it wont work or it has many bugs that makes it not compatible lol.
