  1. Dang, I was hoping for program GUI. Fantasy GUI's are the hardest for me…I know a great style for it, but there are too many fancy things I can't do ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png) so I hate it.
  2. Welcome to eclipse ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png)

Can you post some more information? It's kind of hard to understand what you are talking about. I understand the first question, but I don't know the answer. The second question is a little … vague.
  3. I've already made the layout and graphics of my gui, and I normally know how to change it, but when it comes to dx8 engines, I am completely lost. Can someone tell me exactly what codes I need to edit? I am making a kingdom hearts mmo (yes another one of those fan-mmos, and yes another one of those kingdom hearts mmos.)

I don't want to know a quick fix, or cheap way to do it. I'd like to know how to code a button individually to make it have a normal, hover, and click icon, and how to make it do something. I'd also like to know how to edit existing parts of the gui. The chatbox, for example, is too big. I found the sub to change the dimensions, but that made me think. Why is the chat box width 412x125, but the graphic for the chat box is 512x256? I also notice several graphics have empty space. Why is this? Is it needed for something?
  4. Thank you so much, I already knew how to code the custom hairs in from scratch, but I had no idea how to change the color by code. This saves me from having to do so many pictues, and the concept can be applied in several places such as clothes, face pictures, and more ![:D](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png)
  5. Honestly, if the game was fun I'd play it. Otherwise, these aren't horrible, but they don't exactly have a style. They are almost cartoonish, yet too realistic, and at the same time not real enough. I don't know if you get me?

Edit: By the way, I didn't mean this in any kind of mean way. I do like the graphics, but they could be better _style-wise_.

To be honest, the only thing I wouldn't recommend GIMP for, would be text-art such as logos because although you can make professional quality logos on GIMP, the amount of effort it takes, is simply not worth it. That being said, I do use gimp for my pixel art, and while I am far from being professional, I'd like to think that I am above average. It really isn't the program that makes the spriter; if you can sprite then you would be able to on any program.
  7. This is definitely not something I would have on a daily basis, but it does make a good dinner ![:D](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png) For lunch, though, I usually just grill it. These are both really good, but I understand that I am kind of biased towards the spicy one, being hispanic and all ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png)
  8. Well, recently in my household, we have been eating a lot of chicken. At first I would just pan cook it. No oil, with only lime and salt. I decided to start messing with it, and see what I could make with just the stuff we had on a regular basis in our kitchen. The results ended up being a hot-wing style chicken breast, and a cheese breaded chicken breast. I just thought I would share this, because up until now, I had no idea how easy frying chicken was.

    Spicy Chicken Breast:

**Note: This will dirty many dishes if you do not wash them as you use them lol.**

    Ingredients:

    1 egg (per 2 1/2 chicken breast)

    Vegetable Oil

Hot-Wing Sauce (or thick hot sauce, not thin like tobasco)

    Flour

    Chicken Breast

    Salt

    Pepper

1\. Set the stove on medium-high heat, and coat a pan with a generous layer of oil.

2\. Beat 1 egg in a big enough container to hold your chicken breast.

3\. Put the chicken breast into the egg, and make sure it is covered very evenly with the egg.

4\. Cover the chicken with flour (use a separate plate/board/dish for this)

5\. Place the coated chicken breast into the oil, be careful, the oil is probably very hot at this point.

6\. After about 5-10 minutes (depending on how hot the oil is) flip the chicken to the other side and let it cook for the same amount of time.

7\. Using a fork/tongs/spatula(not really recommended, but usable) place the chicken on a napkin (preferably on a plate) to let the oil drip out.

8\. You can either smother the chicken while already served on a plate, or place it in a bowl, and fill it with enough hot-sauce, a pinch of salt, and pepper, and mix it all around to coat the chicken.

    9\. Serve and enjoy ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png)

10\. Clean up your huge ass mess.

You can cut up pieces of chicken and do the same for restaurant style boneless chicken pieces.

    Cheesy Chicken

**Note: This one doesn't make as big of a mess, but requires some prep work before hand.**

    Ingredients:

Bread Crumbs or French Fried Onions or both ![:D](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png)

    1 egg

A few sprinkles of shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan can be the kind that comes in a bottle)

    Chicken Breast

    Salt

    Foil

If you don't have bread crumbs, I like to make my own by toasting bread until it's dry, and then puting it in a blender to get crumbs. You want some bigger pieces but not huge.

1\. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

2\. Beat an egg in a container big enough to fit the chicken breast.

3\. Coat the breast with the egg.

4\. Roll your chicken breast in the bread crums/ fried onion/ mixture.

5\. Put a layer of foil over a flat pan, and lightly spray it with cooking spray or lightly grease it. (I use a small bit of oil on a napkin and rub that)

This step saves a whole lot of clean up later.

6\. Place the breaded chicken breast on the pan and sprinkle some cheese over it.

7\. Place it in the oven for 25-30 minutes.

    7\. Remove and enjoy.

8\. Only clean up the 2 or 3 dishes you used! ![:D](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png)

TBH Idk why I wrote this. I was just bored and I kinda got stuck while designing my gui lol.
  9. > Son. Apart from your graphics being mediocre at best and pretty bad mostly, this does not belong in show off but in resources subforum.

You sound extremely jealous to me, tbh.

While these are not exactly pro, and their may be some minor issues here and there, they are still REALLY good. I think the op, can post anything they want, as they aren't begging you to post on their thread.

I didn't want to put them in the post because they're kinda big.
  11. Sorry for double posting, but i wanted to bump it, and add some more info aswell.

It seems that no matter what item I equip, it does this bug. Whether it be a helm, a weapon, or a platebody, they all increase my stats to 255\. When i unequip an item, it fixes the stats again, even if i have another weapon equiped.

Ex: Player has helm equiped. Stats are normal.
Player equips weapon. Stats are 255.
Player removes helm. Stats are normal.
  12. Sure here you go
    ![](http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/7804/errorpw.png)

The left one is a before picture, and the right one is after. I made a mistake it seems that this random boost does make the player hit super hard. The item itself has normal stats the highest being 20.
