Your sprites are not bad, and most of the things have been pointed out already. However, I do feel the need to point out your pallete. Unless you are going for a really blue colored game, or a map under an overcast sky, there is just waay to much blue going on here. The water is alright, but the sand and grassy and even the trees could use a little bit of a change. Don't forget the yellows!

I believe in helping whenever possible. Obviously nothing should be handed to anyone on a silver platter. If you aren't willing to put in the hard work it takes to make a game, then you don't deserve to reap the rewards. I also don't think it's fair to others when "Noobs" over-ask for help. It's one thing when help is urgently needed because they literally have no where else to turn, but when they keep asking for a new script, a new graphic, basically a new resource all the time, it becomes an annoyance and that is where I draw the line.
On the flip side, I do offer help to people when they need it and I have the answer. Just because I'm fortunate enough to be in college doesn't mean I need to be an ass and purposely withhold information. If I can help, I usually do because before I went to school and learned, the knowledge of other people was my only resource. Yes you can use google, but nothing beats information from someone with experience. -
Okay, so for the past few days I've been messing with this kind of stuff too. If you are able to host other games that is a GOOD sign. Firstly, check your firewall again. Turning it off is not the same as adding an exception. At least, it hasn't been the same for me. If you need to know how to add an exception im sure there are guides for XP on google. Also, adding an exception for a port is NOT the same as allowing the program to run (which it asks you when you run eclipse).
Secondly, the server is run on your internal IP address, something like 198.168.something.something. That is not the same IP address that you need to use though. What I did was download No-ip DUC for free (they try hard to get you to use the paid version, but the free allows for 3 host addresses). When you run it, you can set the host to redirect to your public IP address so that others can connect using gamename.no-ip.org. Otherwise, you need to change the IP in your client for the other people to connect. You should not be connected with the same IP as them because you are running the server so you need to use your internal IP while others need to use the public IP.
I'm using the no-ip because putting your public address out there is risky. -

I am a self taught graphics artst. I am by no means a professional, and like most people I need money. I enjoy making graphics and I need a bit of a boost in skill. Since I lack motivation (and I really need the money) I figured why not put a skill to use? I will try to be as fast as possible and make graphics to your liking! Payment will be collected via paypal.

Now for the goodies, the work I've done so far. This work is mostly Kingdom Hearts related because I've been attempting to make a kh game for a while now. There are some good non-kh examples that I hope impress you though! Please note: These graphics are intended to be viewed only as examples. They are used for my own projects and I would appreciate if no one else ripped them, but I do realize there is nothing stopping you.

**Conclusion:**
You can expect semi-good quality from me. I work until you are happy with the finished product. Prices vary depending on effort. A few icons might be only $2 but a tileset will be anywhere from $5-$20\. A full gui including menus will also cost $20, but a few interface revamps will only cost $5-$10\. Character templates will also cost a bit more since they require quite a bit of work. However paperdolls will be cheaper than a charset. If you're curious as to what the price will be, just send me a work load and I will tell you the estimate. I am looking more for the bigger priced deals, but I am happy to do anything. Also, if you have a particular style of sprite in mind, just send me a heads up and I will try my best :) -

Very nice graphics. If you want to take it a step further, you show that the water is deeper than that of a pond or lake. Similar to pokemon where the ponds are clear and the ocean has texture. Idk, just an idea.

I think you just took it the wrong way because you made a similar thing before hand, but I'm sure he didn't mean to cause offence. Also, it's not like your game had the first right click menu ever invented, so I mean…technically you could have ripped it as well, but both of you didn't. Hopefully this can be put behind us and the topic can progress from here :b

Haha it's fine I understood that it was meant to be slightly sarcastic, as was mine. It's all for teh lols :b
Also, I'm not 100% sure, but the last demo that I uploaded here might have had more than a few issues. I've updated the game since then to make the boss easier to defeat, aswell as adding combos for the player and a defence button, but I won't be posting it since I mentioned not having any more battle system demos until the first release. (On another site) I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I can promise that it will only get better from here, haha. -

Yeah, I used to use imageshack which was great, but it's gone to sht aswell. Imgur is great. Also, I hope you at least saved the art as png or bmp :P -

1\. I don't have TONS of time. I have an hour here, a few more there, a couple on the weekend, so if I take the job I'll need some basic info and then about a week or so. (Tomorrow would be the best time for me to start)
