To be frank, Link is not leader material. He in incapable of providing solid direction, making rational decisions, and choosing competent staff. I attempted to develop for this community, and it was actually rather successful for the first few weeks; however, things fell apart rather quickly.
The developers were treated in an extremely unfair fashion. Link made it well known that he would rather vest power in his cronies than the people who were actually working to make this community a better place. It quickly became unbearable. The final straw for me, and possibly Rob as well, was when Link wanted to meticulously control the development of the engine; he expected us to act as paid developers in an unpaid job. To me, as a full time student, this was simply unacceptable. Why should I allow myself to be bossed around when not only am I not being monetarily compensated, but also undervalued as a contributor to the well-being of this site?
I wish Link luck. I'm sure the producers of such marvels as a hippie spewing rainbows at trashcans and asteroid clones will be just what this site needs. -
Developing two engines at once appears to be an acknowledgement by the management that they're both crapshots and unlikely to succeed.

I don't really know much about mapping, so I can't tell you how to fix it. There's some oddities that I can point out. Give me a bit and I'll upload an image of them.

Your prices are not suited for what you offer. Your services came off as extremely amateurish. I think the best course of action would be to continue honing your skills as a Software Engineer until you are able to offer something more. -

I think many people here have a mistaken notion of what Computer Science actually is.
Actual programming is such a minor part of Computer Science. In many respects, programming is to Computer Science as Algebra is to Advanced Mathematics; it's used extensively, but your education won't focus on it. A large part of our curriculum is oriented towards understanding different types of algorithms, data structures, and computational models. Yes, quite a bit of this requires programming, but programming isn't the center-piece. -

That's my point. Most of these are extremely simple. I mean, it shouldn't take more than a minute or two to read and fully understand the problem. -

If you're doing things properly, there are very few occurrences where a static modifier is necessary. -
Sorry, but most of these are rather simple. If I have time, I'll upload some of the problems from a recent competition at my university, a lot of which involved n-dimensional node problems (sort, find shortest path, etc.).

Of course not. I generally don't like to argue that socialism is moralistically superior to capitalism; although, I personally believe it to be. It's more about what's best suited to the human condition at this particular point in time of societal development. -
