  1. @Frankenstein thanks :3 @Murdoc I'll try that out :o thanks for the CC
  2. So I'm testing out this new cool minimalistic glassy style for my GUIs. Check 'em out and tell me what you think. ![](http://imageshack.us/a/img29/5053/q50w.png) ![](http://imageshack.us/a/img707/1742/unka.png)
  3. @Death no problem ^__^ if you want a job, simply send me a message via the sites contact page. @zomb I got your message from the site, I've added you on Skype, waiting to hear back :)
  4. Thanks! Well the domain is in progress. And noted, thanks for the advice. I'll try to rework the front page.
  5. Hey all! I've decided its time to get a head start on my freelance graphic design career so I opened a website! [http://nocturnegraphics.tk/](http://nocturnegraphics.tk/) In order to rapidly build my portfolio I will be accepting jobs for _**free**_ There isn't a lot of images for examples sadly seeing as this is to build my portfolio. Anyway, head over, send me a message through the contact page and I'll get back to you as soon as possible thanks! Also C&C for the website please, I used a free web editor but all the web graphics are completely custom.
  6. Well the other day I made a very bad decision to announce Neverwind dead due to me not being able to afford a programmer when I realized many people on this forum seem to need GUI/Logo work done. So I'm offering a proposal. I need atleast a medium skilled programmer who can help me with a few simple, small edits. And in exchange I will provide graphic services as payment for any of the following. Web Graphics Logo Design GUI Designs Updater GUIs Any programmer willing to help will receive my upmost priority in graphics. I will direct all of my attention into making sure you have a gorgeous interface for your game. PM me or reply if you're interested. For examples of my work you can refer to the Neverwind WIP page under screenshots. 7. The wing effect you have as your background is really good, I like it. The only thing that makes it bad is the choppy outlining of the text. If you smoothed it out with some good antialiasing you'd have yourself a very professional logo.
  8. I don't know about you, but I've been playing RPGs for quite awhile and it seems like classes are usually the same bland "Warrior, Mage, Rogue". So I'm making this thread and throwing out some unique class ideas that will hopefully spark the creative fires of some of our game developers. Runeprowler -A skilled assassin who imbues his attacks with elemental runes. Runeprowlers wield daggers and are adept with runic magic and close combat. Timeweaver -A potent magic user who can bend the fabric of time and space. Timeweavers can summon black holes, freeze time, and warp space. Timeweavers wield staves and are adept at long, to mid range magic combat. Cryptic -An illusionist who destroys his opponents mind rather than his body. Illusionists can create clones of themselves, teleport, and will use any technique to confuse and daze their foe. Cryptics can wield short swords, staves, tomes, and daggers and are ideal at mid range combat. Vienhart -A swordsman of tremendous agility. Vienharts use guerrilla warfare to heavily cripple their foes and escape unharmed. Vienharts typically carry multiple blades and use a flurry of hit and run attacks to heavily damage enemies while leaving themselves unharmed. Vienharts wield katanas, longswords, and shortswords and are great at close range combat. Yeah, you get the point. If you have any original ideas of your own, feel free to post them for the community. Any classes or ideas posted on this thread are free to use, but its always nice to credit someone if you directly used their exact idea.
  9. > You've halved the size of RPGMaker tiles - big whoop. To say they're inspired is misleading when they're nothing more than rehashed copies. > > > > Considering they aren't even altered enough to save you from copyright infringement, I don't know what the point of this was. Please refrain from insulting people when you have no idea what you're talking about. If you took the time to actually look and compare, they aren't anything like the RPGM tiles on a pixel base. In fact he may have used a similar palette but if he didn't these wouldn't look anything like RPGM. Once again, another stupid insult on Eclipse. I'm noticing a pattern with you.
  10. So recently I've been addicted to dungeon crawlers and I've found one that is ridiculously fun for the GBA called Shining Soul 2\. Basically I'm looking for up to 3 other people who would like to join me and play through this game together. There is PvP too so it should be fun. Here is a link to the review if you're curious [http://www.gamespot.com/shining-soul-ii/reviews/shining-soul-ii-review-6100929/](http://www.gamespot.com/shining-soul-ii/reviews/shining-soul-ii-review-6100929/) If you're interested, message me or respond here. I'll add you on skype and we can start :3 We are playing this through Visual Boy Advanced Link. I can set up the linking process. I can give you my copy of the ROM which is of course a legal dumped version. Lol. Cant wait to see who'd like to play ^_^ More about the game–---- The game is simple. You select one of the 8 classes and you go through dungeons with your friends and collect gear, defeat bosses, test each others might at the arena, ect. There is a storyline but its more just for show, its quite bad but kinda on purpose. The combat system is addictive and surprisingly very balanced. There is a crafting system, unidentified items that you can identify for stats which means lots of farming runs to get the best gear. Also just because you can only link 4 at a time doesnt mean if more of you want to play you cant. The same characters you use for single player are saved and used for multiplayer. You can level up your character or challenge other people playing at any time.
  11. Looks great! You have real potential. If I may, the texture on the seaweed looks a bit off. Almost looks like a rock texture, might just be me though,
  12. For the past 2 weeks I have been noticing that my development of Neverwind has been going to slow for the announced beta release date. I'd prefer not to postpone it so I'm looking for a bit of help! I need a web designer to help create a website (I can handle all of the web graphics) I also need a mapper or two to help speed things along. If you're interested please send me a pm or reply here. For more info on the game refer to the WIP thread. 13. 20 and 6 months close enough? xD
  14. I have to agree with Synister, Zex the point of a [W.I.P] is to promote your project and get C&C from potential players. With the mindset of "I'm right they're wrong" I guarantee your player count won't hit 10. I've been doing GFX for 6 years and I know a cluttered GUI when I see one. You don't need that much flare, it's too much. Try lowering the tones a bit, maybe remove some of the pasted images or filters.
