@ whitespirits, i am sorry you feel this way, your messages on skype have illustrated that you were more than happy and that you had recommended my services to others.
i would be more than happy to correct anything that is directly related to my programming, but i was under the impression you went with another developer hence removing the files from dropbox, and generally i don't cleanup other programmers messes hence why people come to me to fix there problems.
iocp comsocketserver is more advanced than winsock which has lag, it will handle a huge load, i prefer it to other systems.
if you expect any resolve, please review your comment and contact me appropriately. not only did i perform the services you requested i also added tutorials which you wanted which was labor beyond the initial quote i provided. -

Growlith1223 is right, you have to save it to a picturebox, thats the only way of doing it without coding a novel.

use a non side scrolling engine or pay somebody in the talent center to change it to your liking…i doubt anybodies going to do this for free, quite a bit to change in the movement codes and we don't even know what engine / source your using ! ;)

why does the sprite just disappear and not display properly ? only sprite 1 works and i have to set that in the admin panel after getting in game, new character logging right in displays the wrong frames. just figured i would bring it to your attention, so far so good otherwise, nice and smooth jumping, i dig it. Npcs also do not show up correctly, even number 1 does not work right.

me and seth have not had the best of relationship but there is one thing we do have in common and that is the will to want to give people a near bug free game making experience.
i have been a community leader in several engines and forums and to be honest i keep to myself due to peoples opinions and or comments especially here at eclipse, they tend to broadcast in a public manor for a belly rub pros or cons.
Unless you have been a leader of a forum or an engine its hard to actually comprehend the amount of messages and questions that gets asked on an everyday basis and it can indeed be or become overwhelming, its impossible to fix everything and be everywhere at once especially when providing a free service.
The truth is seth is providing an engine to try and give people a choice of something modern that is more bug free than what is being provided here at a commercial price. honestly if your not happy about his programming, the quality of features or speed in getting things done then there is a vast choice of older engines available and anybody that IS (or feel they are) a better programmer than him can surely make it bug free and to there personal liking.
i could brag here and be like my custom engine this, my vb.net engine that oh i could do this too but anybody with real skills doesn't have to brag, it is what it is and we can't change the truth of who is at the top of the programming chain.
of course there will be responses to my post to further escalate the war but you know what ? nobody is here to fight, we are here to make games, socialize and build beyond what has already been accomplished to help the community, hence why everybody is losing focus here !
so if you feel you can do better, do it yourself, otherwise be patient and remember what our moms always told us… if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all !

look in references and components in VB6, this will show you ocx and dll and lib dependancies.
