Well, I just uninstalled and removed all Eclipse files from my computer, restarted it, and then re-installed everything and now everything's working 100%.

Alright, I did a quick Google search of the forums, and I found [this](http://www.eclipseorigins.com/community/index.php?/topic/128566-scrambled-ui/): which was in plain enough English for me to understand, so I followed "✟ John ✟"'s advice and immediately it seemed like the problem was fixed. But when I try to connect to a server now this happens: the client just whites out and error counter soars. 

While I'm not new to using Eclipse (I used Eclipse 2 I believe about 4 or 5 years ago, and what happened to 'Touch of Death Productions'?!) I am very new to the current Eclipse server-client package. I've downloaded the most recent package availible and I'm running it on my laptop with Windows 8. While I haven't had any problems with the server so far, the client has a problem where it's GUI from the start up doesn't fully fit in the client's window. In fact, while the window doesn't change at all it seems the GUI changes it's size between screens. As you can see in the screenshot below this leaves some dark grey dead space between in the client window. Also, the click on the buttons (in their locations in the screenshot) doesn't do anything, instead to make it work I have to click around where I drew the four red dots to interact with the four buttons. I'm a long-time fan of the Eclipse engine. I used to use it 4 or 5 years ago when I downloaded everything from the old site (I still remember 'Touch of Death Productions' and the amazing logo that site had) so I just checked my old spam-mail account and saw a letter you guys sent out and I decided to get back into the system. So, I just downloaded and installed the client, server, and runtime files but the client only boots up and doesn't respond. I can start up the client and it lets me choose my server, then it loads, and gets to the sign up/log in screen and that screen doesn't respond. So, since it doesn't respond it won't let me create a character. If I can't create a character then I can't make him an admin and start up my old hobby of mapping and screwing around. It's nice to see the community's still going strong and that it's progressed so much. I look forward to maybe seeing some old faces I know and making new friends on here. (I believe my old username used to be Lonewolfu571) Just in case, I'll uninstall the reinstall everything to make. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Thanks for everything. P.S. I've attached a photo. I don't know if that helps any. Also, I use Windows 8.
