That's what I mean, that would in theory be what the Optimal flavor would be. Rob's engine being the Basic, and we'd have to find a powerhouse flavor.
-
You think a set of right click menus for NPCs and Players is a worthy addition to add? This could hold a list of commands for the player to perform with that other target.
-
I think a plan of action for eclipse should be this;
We provide three different builds of the base engine, remember how Ubuntu has official flavors? Like that. We provide;
**Basic -** An engine that provides everything a standard Eclipse game would need, a base for anyone to work off of.
**Optimal -**Same as basic minus some features that have bugs and nothing is added until deemed bug-free. Like Eclopti Rekindled basically.
**Powerhouse -** Engine specifically meant to hop in with the good stuff added right in, so people can jump into Eclipse without a need for programming knowledge.
Anything else should be covered to custom versions but we need a set of official choices.
Just my two cents. -
Could it be a rhetorical question?
-
I really think just an X button on the window panel for buttons would have been better, not everyone is going to get that.
-
Whatever works best for the guy but this a suggestion to Deathbeam. Regardless I want to see more gameplay stuff in this and less graphical powerhouse design.
-
Still, separate menus for different things like viewing the ban list, setting time bans, kicking, gifting and that stuff should have a form specific to a certain rank.

I'm probably making a whole lot of sense. I made the screenshot for the wallpaper, then kept it, then when I made that GUI I stuck it on there, that simple. I understand negative feedback is needed in an project but that isn't even an ingame screenie.
-
Makes sense, I would rather be able to manage staff by level and give them the access they properly have access to.
-
The screenshot isn't an actual in-game screen and those are not the actual tilesets, they were an after effect and I released the image in a hurry to not keep you all waiting. Kept it as stock images.
-
The above screenshot was a placeholder for the ingame screenie, and were not using this design anymore and nor are we using Eclipse, for that matter.
I'll be updating this thread to reflect our changes and expand on my search for a pixel artist later. -
You would think you can bring it back to 64 FPS locked?
-
Wait for Starbound, hear they are close to release.

Okay, let me know if you need anything. I never did get too involved with text based games but I'm liking where this is going.
-
Ever need some GUI let me know, I can make some.
-
Yes, I did saturate the tilesets in the wallpapers.
-
Contact me with a layout rob and I'll work you something up.

Lukff, install the DX8 runtimes, find them under the Nightly Releases thread, here in the Custom Versions board,.

Were not planning on a lot of random variables, more as were focusing on variables controlled by your actions. The geography we are planning on has it's own unique traits of numbers and things will vary based on the actual political and physical state of the nations and the world.
-
Consider a new GUI perhaps when your done? For a new engine of standards that your going by the thing should have a new presentation.
-
Thank you, but I'd like to say for everyone who reads in the future about this project were currently in the phase of constructing a new engine with all new possibilities for Naya, and new GUI as well. Stay tuned as we get closer to Naya in the next generation of 2D Gameplay.

Dragon Eclipse has it, it trades a description with a lot of space for some premade fields that display common data as in most MMOs to date.

Would be nice to find a way to automate FTP accounts where one can register for an account and be assigned a specific folder in the FTP.
