  1. Well it depends on how you wish to host your game. If you want to run it from home you can do one of two things. Buy/use another computer as the server host or use your own computer as the host. The only problem with this is the host computer will need to be on all the time. You will also have to portforward, there's a few tutorials on how to do that here on Eclipse and YouTube but it'll be slightly different depending on your router. Your second option is to buy a VPS also known as a Virtual Private Server (basically a computer you pay monthly for that you can connect to). The good part about a vps is that it's online 24/7\. The only issue is it costs money so I wouldn't suggest buying one unless your game is really popular.

Anyway since you're most likely going to be hosting from home there's quite a few tutorials that can teach you how to portforward. Other users have had this same question before so if you type in portforward in the search bar here on Eclipse you'll find quite a few threads about it.
  2. Sort of a difficult choice for me but it kind of depends on what you like. Black is sleek, less noticable, and goes with every outfit. The gold and blue is a bit flashier, doesn't match every outfit, but can look better than black in certain situations.
  3. > Do you know another language?  Would you be interested in taking on a developer that could help you out with the programming aspect?  I'm looking for work, whether it's paid or not, but I refuse to touch VB6/EO/Mirage.

I'm currently in the process of learning my first one (Java). But I'm still a beginner at it since I won't have much time to learn it until summer starts.
  4. > As much as I love you nello, Trailers for eclipse games are pretty mcuh bad and always will be bad, it's not you but it's usually people walking and talking around their game.

True, that's why I try to avoid that and instead cut to the chase and show the important features.
  5. > I guess I'll offer a tip, try putting the text in the videos in the transitions or change the color, it was really hard to read when I finally noticed it, also, it might just be me, but there seem to be a lot of transitions and they happen randomly, try to set them up to switch according to something like the music, I'm not an expert, but just my two cents :) As for prices, they seem a bit steep but having made a trailer before, I can honestly say that they are more than fair for what you're making!

Thank you for the feedback. :) I'll definitely try to do that in future trailers.
  6. Hello everyone, today I'm opening my video/trailer shop. I've been recording and editing videos since 2011 and really enjoy making them. I've been self teaching myself how to create quality videos and know how to use quite a few different editing studios. Anyway I've decided to open this shop to offer my talent to the Eclipse community.

**So how quickly can you create my video?**

    >! Usually I am able to finish something that is 2 minutes or less in no more than a weeks time. If it is above 2 minutes it can be anywhere from a week to two weeks. It also depends on my method of connecting to your game to record footage.

  7. Well Valve took them away now. Personally I believe paid mods shouldn't be a thing unless the mod is extremely high quality and is worth it's price. $5 for a candy cane sword wouldn't be worth it but $5 for something that adds 3 towns, 10 quests, etc would be.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm interested in learning how to create pixel art. Every tutorial series that I find is never completed or is missing parts. If anyone knows a good tutorial series to follow, please post it below!
