People use Linux because it is free, gets less viruses, and take less of the computers resources. -
Like Cat said, Webs is a better for an auto-updater. I want to use as much resources of my computer as I can for my server. I don't want people taking that up by downloading files from my computer. Everything that I can get off my computer I will.

lol! I unlocked the server and it went from taking 1% of my processing power to 50%! I haven't tried out another computer yet but I believe it speeds it up… When I'm on my computer (like watching youtube) i'll lock it but right when I leave and keep my server up then I will unlock it!

I'm going tto try it out with another computer. I will see how fast it is and how much ping there is locked (cps=60-1000) and then see how fast is is with cps unlocked (10000-?????). I will post here which one is faster!

About google, personally I don't mind if they do "take over" the internet. As long as they don't abuse powers they definatly have a good vision for the future. Look at this thing they made for Japan: http://japan.person-finder.appspot.com/?lang=en

You think you can solve it now? Just as a side note 69.163.139.25 is the eclipse status checker so that is not affecting anything… To sum up my question, what is CPS and do I want it lower or higher?

Type in /editmap and then go to properties and set the NPCs you want on the map. Then create a NPC spawn for each of them.

Go to your game's client folder and then to graphics. There should be a folder called GUI. -
For number 2 open up the server code and go to: modPlayer and it's Sub OnDeath :)

HFS, you have to download and keep your computer on. Webs allows you to host it outside of your computer, less traffic.

hmmm… over 50 maps * 10 (average) = over 500 npcs...
That maybe is your problem... Just to help you a little, 600 experience is not to much, I once gave one of mine 10000.

1) I want it so that when a player steps on a scripted tile that it will set that player's variable, let's just say stepv, to 1\. I only want this variable to affect the player, not anyone else. What's the line for this?
2) When a player warps into a room I want this to set off something in the room, such as message saying "Welcome to my room!" Where and How would I edit the source to achieve this?
3) When I have a scripted NPC talking to a player, how can I make it so that the player has to click a key, preferably enter, to hear the next line?
