  1. You are not required to 'install' php. All you need is to have a host, that supports PHP5+ and MySQL. PHP is only required when you are going to work with sessions, data, queries, fetches, arrays etc, etc. You can build an entire, functional website using only HTML(5) and CSS(3).

Years ago, people decided to use tables to nest their content properly. However, tables are only to be used when importing tabular data (MySQL), avoid it unless you decide to import data.

HTML and CSS is perfect. Try to use HTML5 and CSS3 attributes as well, for gradients, shadows, hovers and what not.

Like Justin said, go with the 960 grid system, it's perfect.
  3. Nice concept, I like it.

You should get rid of the fade-in transition. You want to have a fast source, without any delay on use. The fade-in is a nice addition, but not required.

The top bar, bottom padding has more than top, a small thing, although, worth fixing.

The input field has the same issue as ^, again, small detail but worth fixing.
  4. I asked Magical Magical Aeroplane to review the entries. Thanks, Magical Magical Aeroplane.

Lenn, if you would have less CSS3 errors and removed the unknown character map on line 127, you would have probably won due to your design.

However, this contest is not judged, alone on Design, but code as well.

Therefore, based on Magical Magical Aeroplane's review and mine combined.

    I delcare:

**ECKHART as the winner of Eclipse's Design & Code contest, 2012!**

Second place goes to Lenn, for still having an exceptional design!

    Third place goes to Likestodraw!
