Hey I was wondering if you could use another member on the team? I can do graphics and basic web design (I'm taking a college course that includes web design and I already know HTML so I'll get better over time) I can do java to some extent too and my college course will involve vb2008 later on… Yeah message me about it

OKay I need help with something for my site.
A while ago, me and some friends wrote up some rules and such for a game a lot like dungeons and dragons, and we thought it would be a good idea to have it set up on a website, eg character sheets, rules ect are stored on the site, and you can basically make your character on the site, then play with friends (Not through the internet) all you will need is an account on the site and some dice, which i might even implement into the website.
Also if it becomes popular enough i might find a way to allow online play.
So basically I need help setting up account creation and character creation. -
doesn't this belong in the french board seeing as the entire website is french?

Eww.. if by RSPS you mean Runescape Private Server, no. I don't even want to touch runescape, unless I'm throwing it into an incinerator. -

I think you may have misread my original post, I said "Not some kind of tile based movement" What I'm after, is a pixel by pixel movement, where for example spamming wasd wasd wasd would cause you to travel in a circle, if you try that with aaron's code, you will notice it is rough and jittery, also a slight amount of deceleration would be nice, meaning you let go of s and you slide downwards to a halt. -
No my java skills have been focused on minecraft modding and tower defence games, neither of which use any form of controlled movement, and besides, i know how to do the basics such as what Aaron said, my main issue is making it smooth movement

Okay I know a decent amount of java, but one thing I can't get my head around is making a top down system where wasd is used to move and the character always faces the mouse, and not some sort of tile based movement, smooth movement.
Any help?

1) Can we use other colours just as long as we use those 3 as the main theme?
