I'm not going to write a long reply but just say this… Small games like these are better to be browser based. Nobody wants to download games anymore, everybody wants to play in their browsers. Why not port the client to have a browser based client and cross-platform based server.
-
Never again will this title ever (Or should never) be brought back by anybody, including me. Deloria Online is a curse. Don't mess with it.
-
lol, there used to be images where those buttons are, they were placed temporary until I can do some nice buttons.

Well, what I have is Player(Index) which uses the AccountRec (TempPlayer on Skywyre), and Player(Index).Char(x) which uses the CharacterRec (or whatever it is) I've checked over both sources to ensure that it's right and it seems to be correct, just not sure why it's producing this error.
-
No it's still producing the error. Would it be affected now that I've added multiple characters per account?
-
I've copied everything over from Skywyre so not sure what I'm missing here
* * *
I'm just wondering. In my source, I have a lot of **"player(index)."**, where as in SkyWyre it uses **"TempPlayer(index)."**
Should I replace these and use TempPlayer? Do you think that's what the issue is, because TempPlayer doesn't hold any value as it's never set? -
So getting an error here.
I've been developing a project for many years now. It is a heavily modified version of Mirage Source, and I've recently attempted to update the networking system to use packet buffers.
However, after doing the conversion, I'm getting this error when I try to connect: **Runtime Error 91: Object variable or With block variable not set.**
It highlights the following line of code within **_Sub IncomingData:_**
_TempPlayer(index).buffer.WriteBytes buffer()_
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. -

Since my previous thread was hijacked, this thread is for people to post pictures of their cars. No thread hijacking, thanks.

Ok so I guess nobody else drives.

> Subaru are fun but i just love rwd, Bmw's are ok but they are just too heavy to have much fun, I just keep the 540 as a daily and the comet is gonna be the fast one. I have spent a while doing an engine and suspension swap, went from a little straight six to a 460 big block v8\. I have some turbos but i have to save for fuel injection before i can use em.
They are very heavy cars, which is why I would never buy a 318 ever again. Although the convertible was just for cruising so I didn't mind too much about the speed. Scoobies are fun but they're also great daily's. Fair amount of space in the trunk and big enough to fit a small family inside :)
Not sure what I'll have next. It could be another scooby, but I do have my eyes set on a Skyline R33 GTST. -
Can I ban somebody? :D

Nice. I'm also a fan of BMWs, had this last year:

I've had 2 E36's and they are great cars, but I always wanted a scooby. I first bought an impreza wagon, but wasn't 100% satisfied so went and got the sedan model I have now. It's only a GX Sport so non-turbo, but it's still fairly quick and looks just as good as any WRX or STi. I'm currently working on the engine bay, so that I can show people that a Sport can look awesome too :D -
I'm sure some of you here drive. I'd love to see some pictures of your rides. Here's mine, 2003 Subaru Impreza.

It's had a couple of changes since this picture but mostly still the same, for now :) -

The game could be horrible for all I know (haven't played it yet, sorry Matt D;) but it's still not a valid reason to leave pointless criticism.

It's a standard version of Eclipse with poor mapping, no feature updates, sprites that don't animate and don't fit into the rest of the graphics at all. I won't respond to your "talentless" comment as I don't feel I have anything to prove here. May have only been 13 when he made this, but if I feel like making a comment about how bad it is, I will, no rule against it. It's a forum after all, and everybody is entitled to their opinions as long as they're not abusive.
It's bad, and that's my opinion. Others might like it though, and that's the beauty of game design :) -

I could do 1, 2 and 5 for you pretty easily. Probably in a day. 3 and 4 are a little more complex and could take some time, as I'm fairly busy I won't offer to do those.

Old re-released versions of Eclipse predecessors can be found here from DragonSource.
A full forum support system is currently being worked on and the site is a work-in-progress as of this post, but the downloads are available.
