Thanks, Ambardia is 3 years old, which is probably why we're using an outdated script. I can code in COBOL, BASIC and C (delved into C++, but it's very similar to C anyways) so I'll probably end up recoding it if I think it's inefficient. I just need to grasp the entire system first, which I haven't yet.

I'm trying to add a new sailing tile script, and the tile script includes a subtraction from a new sailing meter that I've added, and an experience gain for the sailing skill. The problem I've run into is I don't know what the parameters are for the Baron_Uber_skills script, because I can't find the actual script, just references to it. I'm seeing a lot of Call Baron_Uber_skills(index) in a bunch of script files, but I can't find the actual script and it's parameters. If someone could either point me in the direction of some information about this script, or explain to me how I can grant exp in an individual skill, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Before You Ask Before asking a technical question by e-mail, or in a newsgroup, or on a website chat board, do the following: 1. Try to find an answer by searching the archives of the forum you plan to post to. I searched this forum for it, no results. 2. Try to find an answer by searching the Web. Didn't think it would help to do this. 3. Try to find an answer by reading the manual. Read a bunch of manuals, including checking this post http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,28153.0.html and still haven't found it. 4. Try to find an answer by reading a FAQ. Same as above answer. 5. Try to find an answer by inspection or experimentation. I've gone through the eclipse scripting files, I can't seem to locate this specific script, but I have found references to it. 6. Try to find an answer by asking a skilled friend. Asked Ambard, he told me it was made by someone on these forums, he said the name but I have a bad memory and forgot. 7. If you're a programmer, try to find an answer by reading the source code. Same as question 5.
