Hey guys
Basically i'm having some real issues making a perfect system for movement. I can do all the coding fine, i'm just having problems with the logic/theory…
Basically this is how i want it to work:
-User presses buttons, moves the character on screen and sends packets to the server
How will i coordinate the movement?
Will there be a timer when the user presses the button detecting how long and then send packets accordingly? If so then how will other clients move the character which moved?
I can't remember how i did it in vb couple years ago..

Centrioles. I couldn't find more than 5 paragraphs which were different on wikipedia and my textbooks! Have to hand in tomorrow..

Note: I'm entering this in a national web competition in like 7 months, just started it the other day. For now i only have the centriole page up (half-completed lul) but soon i will add a proper index page, CMS and the like. I plan to have around 15 different organelles on the site and a biology thesaurus up.
The competition is for high schools and the theme is always boring old "what we learned".

I haven't entered one yet, but i reckon i have a great chance if i start working now. Look at last years secondary school winners. The winners of the 3s team used DRUPAL in a competition and won HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA. -

hate to break it to you mate but that isn't really Blizzard, it's just phishing mail. Blizzard never email you about that crap more than once and i always get that phishing mail. -
•All attacks have a range, eg a barbarians move "cleave" (trying not to rip diablo off too much..) would have a range of 20 units (probably pixels) which would be translated into 1 yard.
•No targets are set, a spell would go directly in front of the character in a line (or depending on the spell) and damage the first target in its way (depending on spell.. could hit multiples)
•Energy bar (100%) - effects running/walking like diablo but would recharge 1% per second walking and 3% per second stationary. Also effects melee moves. Spellcasters will use this as well. The name won't be "energy" for every class though, spellcasters it will be either "mana", "spirit" or "charge"
I want it to be a very skill-based game where you don't count on gear to be the best - gear is a result of being the best. -

You sir are a fucking retard. Eclipse is not a game. IT IS A BASE. A FRAMEWORK for you to build upon. All these other GAMES you listed have had at least 100k US put into them (With one possible exception). Eclipse is a framework provided for you to build upon and put _your_ money into it.
Look, i'm not pissed off with you saying blandly which is easiest to hack. It's the implication of a comparison between them.
FYI: Have you tried using cheatengine on an eclipse game? I have and it wasn't as easy as you think. Took me a few minutes, and i'm a lot smarter than you. -

The server processes the PHP code and receives HTML output
The HTML output is sent to your browser like a regular .html or .htm webpage.
PHP is significantly different to HTML and Javascript and CSS etc because it is a server-side language - completely uneffected by the browser. -

Breeze will be the base. I work from them, so they will be custom… breeze sets :)
Breeze is where chibi is uber cute for me. And yeh Draken, i understand with the whole gore thing. I'm working on epic particle effects ATM which will look HILARIOUSLY CUTE with my little chibi kiddies <3 -
