  1. I'm using Windows XP Media Center Edition
  2. Yea, I downloaded those first
  3. Nothing, I just downloaded from the link provided on the main website (www.freemmorpgmaker.com), I downloaded both .zip and .rar hoping either would work. Maybe I need the source one?
  4. It is, I don't know why it isn't working…
  5. I took a look at everything and it seems this will workout like I want it too. In fact, I think the last game I played used this client because it seems so much alike. But getting to the main point, I downloaded everything I needed, and followed a few tuts, but after i open up my server (which works fine), its when I open my client that it always tells me my server is down… Can anyone help me with this?
  6. First off, you don't know how relieved I am to find a forum/helpsite that hasn't been deserted. I have searched through rusty piles of nails to find a help site for a certain game that I have been trying to bring back to life. The game I want to resurrect was not very well known, in fact, I think only about 2000 people were active players, with around just 50 online at a time. It was tick-based and it would refresh every 10 seconds and whatever you chose to do (go to somewhere, fire your weapons, etc.) would have completed their action and what not. It seems very boring, but the game was a gift from God himself. I have Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and I'd have to say this game is 3x better than MW2\. Yes, it's that good. Some here might remember if you ever heard of it, it was called Interstellar Wars. This game was good because everything was controlled by players, trading, economy, war, almost everything you'd have to deal with was handled by real people. There were certain races and some were better than others due to population, good leaders, etc., but overall the game was great. Sadly, it shut down. The man running the game could no longer pay for the website (because it was browser-based) and he had a wife and 2 kids, which is very understandable. But as I said, everyone that played Interstellar Wars loved it so much that we all hate this man, even though he did the right thing. So I want to recreate the game (without violating copyright laws). So I have searched through shadows and under every rock to find something that might help me achieve this game. This looked promising to me, so I want to make sure. Is it possible to make the game I described, tick-based browser space mmorpg, with this game creator?
