Maybe it's just my noobishness coming through, but my / commands aren't working (/help, /train) Please tell me what I'm doing wrong and/or how to fix it!

It's entirely possible that this is my noobsishness coming through, but certain vital text commands such as /train claim to "not be valid" How can I fix this?

So, I open up my server, and I've got my main menu open… But it says the server is down. How can I fix this?
