  1. Is there anyway I can change the screen size for the client? The small square that its set to isn't right for me. So, again, anyway we can change it to make it take up more of the screen?

    CutScenes

@Admiral: > Yes, it's very possible. > Just make a cutscene in flash, save it as an swf file in the Client/Flashs/ folder. > Then, where ever you want the cutscene to happen, use the script "Call Flash(Index, "Flashfile.swf")" > The flash movie will pop up and play for the user. > > Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. That's flipping awesome. I'm gonna do that. So, I could use that to start in the very beginning before you can control your player?

    CutScenes

So, is it possible to have simple CutScenes to happen in certain parts of the game I choose? I think it would be awesome if I could get something like that for my game. I have looked around the boards but can't find anything :lipsrsealed:.
  4. I wouldn't mind doing that, but I really don't want the GUI/GFX, etc to be different. I wanted to keep the same quality.
  5. Alright, so I got this cool idea that for my game I split it up into two parts: Single player and Online Multiplayer. Would anyone have any suggestions on how we could make a single and multiplayer using Eclipse?
  6. I didn't try those before, but I just did. Still didn't work. Still getting the same error and everything. When I used Eclipse in the Windows 7 RC, it worked perfectly, so I don't know why it isn't working now. EDIT: Well, now all of a sudden it works. I think it was a bad download of the Libray files cuz just a minute ago I started getting a Run-Time 429 error. So I redownloaded the library files and it works now.
  7. Alright, so I went to continue the work on my game and the server nor the engine would start and would get the error message saying, "Error loading the Scripting Engine". So, I realized when I upgraded my version of Windows to Windows 7, I needed to installing the libray files. Ran the the installer and tried again and still got teh same error. I tried both the Stable and the Evolution and still no luck and still getting the same error. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running Windows 7 Professional x86 if that helps this problem.
  8. Is there another way to make them stand still and have them look in one direction without moving at all?
  9. So, I'm trying to keep certain NPCs from moving. Like, I just want them to stand still in one location. How do I go about doing that?
  10. Alright, so here is what I want to do: I would like to be able to walk up to an NPC and be able to select the NPC and have it talk to you. I have set what he is supposed to say and set him to be friendly, but it will not work. Anyone have any ideas?
  11. I put the code in and reloaded the server. Still doesn't work. I hit level ten and nothing happened.
  12. Could you expand more on that? I'm not programmer or coder so I have no clue where this code is supposed to go. I get what it does, but have no clue where the code is to be copied to.
  13. Alright, so here's my plan with my game. I would like the characters you play as to change change their look (basically change sprites) once they hit a certain level. Is that possible?
  14. Is there a way to make them actually swing the sword in the game?
  15. I've looked in the graphics area of the tutorials and couldn't find the answer. As of right now when a NPC and my character attack each other, htye just kinda stand there and look at eachother until one is defeated. Is there a wayto include graphics to make the NPC's and player characters attack and include an animation of some sort so you can see the attack coming from the chars?
