  1. Well done you've figured out who I am. Now never refer to me by that name again because I've turned human :)
  2. @Godlord: > Or that day when I was writing a shell script and it interpreted a part of my code as rm -r / and just started removing everything it could remove being non-root. Suddenly I had only 3-4GB left. > > Regards, > Godlord. Lucky you didn't put "sudo" in front of that. By the way, does anyone use Kopete? In my experience it's a pile of crap - It takes forever to send messages. And don't even think of using it for sending files… Anyone else had that problem?
  3. WARNING: Site contains subliminal Rickroll :)
  4. Damn so many people I remember! Just because I didn't mention you doesn't mean I've forgotten! Unnown yep you're the dutch guy who helps run the site, MrMiguu I remember you for reasons I can't remember XD, ICT of course…
  5. @♥♠DDunit: > Hrm, you can't get a virus in Linux. Oh trust me it's possible, just a hell of a lot harder because Linux is a less popular target. But having said that, Windows Vista/7 with UAC enabled has an arguably similar level of security. I'm not taking sides, I'm not a fanboy. Both OS's have their ups and downs. I discovered today that Linux is not entirely crash-proof. A mistake in some code I was writing managed to hog up all of the resources on my laptop, making it impossible to do anything without forcibly turning it off by holding the power button.
  6. @Harris: > I was here but then I was called Dark-Mercy. Remember me? I recall that name, but unfortunately that is all. OT: Before I "waste" time starting a new topic, is there any rule strictly forbidding posting a request for people to help with an ORPG project that is not based on Eclipse, but rather built from scratch using cross platform libraries (SDL, OpenGL and whatnot) and C++?
  7. I am using Kubuntu 9.04 here :) Dual booting with Vista just in case I desperately need to play a game (not that my laptop can handle much anyway) or use Office 2007 for something. I like the fact that everything just works, apart from a slight hiccup getting the Wi-Fi driver to work.
  8. Well, I can say I remember most of you that have posted. Seems I have failed to mention that I am using a different name myself, although anyone that worked on a certain project with me or who was curious enough to look at my profile to see my real name may recognise it. Now to play the guessing game - Who was I?
  9. @Marsh: > marsh > > Devins gone i believe. Yes of course I know you Marsh, you pretty much owned the site, I assume you still do? :)
  10. Hi, I was an active member of this community back in 2007\. I am returning in hope of regaining contact with a few people I was friends with back then, having changed my MSN address. If you were active in 2007 and are still here, please reply along with the display name you had then if you have changed it since then. Amongst others I am looking for: - Devin - Godlord - (Any more I remember I will add)
