Help with interface (vb6)

Hello,

I'm attempting to redesign my interface (main), I know exactly how to do it but as soon as I resize picScreen and test it, it crashes my laptop but everything else is fine. also how do I place the buttons, hp, experience and gold bar above the picScreen  thanks.

I'm using project vertigo 1.1.2 if that is any help.
