Wouldn't it be better…

Wouldn't it be better if eclipse had an ini that made the points auto assigned instead of the player being able to choose where the points go? I mean, the way it is now doesn't it not really matter what class you choose besides the weapons and skills I mean right now a mage could  make his defence stronger and have nothing stopping him, so couldn't they make it so you have an option to make it points of auto points? (or if you can already change it then how?)
