VB6 well not compile!

For some random reason… My VB6 well not compile... Well at least not for eclipse source or any source. I can make a blank frm and compile fine. It is when im using any VB engines source it well stop... and the screen goes all white. And i do not no how to fix that... I saw a site that said download Service Pack 6 and well i did but for some reason that did not install right? It installed all the way but it did not change my current Service pack. It still says SP 2\. And it still does not work? Any suggestions
