[RTE] [EE2.7] [FIX] Run-time error 5 and 429

Before I begin, all credit for this fix should go to Nazzket, he posted the original guide on the fix.  All I am doing is mearly simplifying it.

1.)  For starters, visit the following link

Once there, scroll down to error five and download the file. (this is all you will need to download to fix the error)

2.)  Next, click the Start Button and type 'System32'.  You should see a folder at the top.


Open the folder and drag the file you just downloaded into it.  See the picture below for reference.


3.)  Go back to the search and this time type 'Command Prompt'.  When you see the file, make sure to right click, and run as administrator.  If you do not run it as administrator, this will not work.  To check, make sure it says something along the lines of 'Administrator: Command Prompt' at the top. 

All you must do now is type 'regsvr32 dx7vb.dll'.  You should get a message saying "DllRegisterServer in dx7vb.dll succeeded" or something along those lines.  At any rate, your done!


4.) Throw a party, you just fixed the Vista error!! Wasn't too hard was it?
